'Lloyd?? Lloyd, I'm here! Where are you??!'

The red ninja ran all around the quiet bounty searching for the blonde, but no one appeared.

He looked in every room and at last, he had managed to find him inside the living room, but he was laying on the ground.

'Lloyd!'

The brunette kneeled down in front of his unconscious figure and noticed how pale he looked like.

He checked his pulse but nothing came.
He was gone.

'N-no no! Lloyd! Lloyd wake up! P-please!'

The red ninja shook the boy's body in vain as he started to hear voices screaming at him.

'You killed him!'
'You shouldn't have left him!'
'What a failure!'
'You failed him!'
'He trusted you!'
'S-stop-'
'You should have done something!'
'You're pathetic!'
'Just-'
'That's why your parents left!'

"STOP!"

The brunette woke up with cold sweats covering his entire forehead while gasping for air as he tried to recollect his thoughts.

Not a second passed by before his sister rushed inside his room, panicked at his sudden scream.

"Are you okay??"
"Y-yeah yeah..just a nightmare."
"Do you wanna talk about it?"

The red ninja looked down for a second before nodding. Only his sister was here, so he didn't minded sharing what happened too much.

He trusted her for not making fun of him.

"I was looking for Lloyd in the bounty, and I found him dead in the living room..then these voices kept on telling me how much it was my fault and after that I woke up."
"That's because you are scared for his safety, which is quite understandable right now.."
"Yeah, I know..I just feel guilty about all of it, because we left him on his own. Maybe we-"
"No, don't say any of these things. We couldn't have known that they knew who Lloyd was, and we tried our best to save him back then, but we couldn't risk him getting hurt. I promise you, we will all do our best to get him back safe here."

Nya smiled sadly at her brother and hugged him, knowing that sharing his feelings was not something he would do everyday.

But she was also relieved that they had this small talk, because she hated when her brother blamed himself for things he couldn't have changed.

"I'm happy that you talked with me about it."
"Thanks for listening too."

The two chuckled as they heard a knock on the door.

"Don't want to interrupt you two, but we've got a call for the snakes."

The siblings followed Jay towards the main deck where Zane and Cole waited.

"Did the nap helped your headache?"
"Kind of..But anyways, what was the call?"
"A vigil called us and said that he reported snakes wandering around the museum. He is kind of scared of something taking place there during his shift tonight and asked us to go and make sure that they don't do anything."
"I guess it's the only thing we have so far?"
"Yeah.."
"Well, we better prepare for tonight.."

"Do it fasssster!"
"I-I'm trying!"

Lloyd looked down nervously underneath him and gulped at how deep this hole was.

Just one wrong movement and he would fall for a very scary and painful death.
