3 weeks later

(Tori's POV)

3 weeks gone, and today is finally premiere day for my new movie Trust.
I was given three extra tickets for the premiere, so, along with Eddie, I was thankfully able to invite my parents. The four of us flew out to New York yesterday so that we'd have plenty of time to get ready for the big ceremony tonight. We've got a busy few days ahead of us, though, because after today, we'll have to fly back to LA tomorrow and start getting things ready for our engagement party. The party is in three days' time, so we'll only have tomorrow and the next day to get everything ready for our many invited guests.

The premiere is being held at The Paris Theater, where a lot of Netflix movie premieres are usually held. Luckily, our hotel is only a short drive from the event. My parents were obviously given a separate room to Eddie and I, allowing us all to get settled and to get ready for the big evening in our own rooms.

"Huh, it's been a while since we've attended a big premiere like this. It's nice that you've been able to bring your parents along to this one babe" Eddie says as he carefully changes into his charming tuxedo.

"That's true babe. I think the last time we attended a movie premiere like this was for my last one, The Outcasts. I'm really glad my parents are here too" I say as I turn to face him once I'm finally dressed into a long, flowing, red silk dress, similar to, but longer and less revealing to one that I wore in the movie.

Eddie looks up and catches my eye, his widening in delight.
"Well, you're certainly red carpet ready! You look gorgeous Tor" he says.

"Thanks babe. You scrub up pretty damn nicely yourself" I say as I straighten his bow tie. It's a nice change seeing my fiance wear a smart looking bow tie as opposed to a regular tie with his suit. It makes him look all the more dashing.

"So, have you got your speech ready for tonight?" Eddie asks.

"Yep, it's all ready to go babe" I tell him.
I got a call from one of the producers when filming had finished over a month ago asking if I'd like to do a short speech at the premiere. Matt Daddario will join me in doing a short speech, pretty much just explaining our time during the filming and thanking the producers and the director for the opportunity.

"When's the driver coming babe?" Eddie then asks.

"Uh, about 6 minutes" I say as I check the time on my phone.

"Oh crap already? Are you ready to go?" Eddie asks.

"Oh yes! Just gotta see if my parents are ready" I answer.

I give my mom a call and inform her and my dad that our driver will be here very shortly. Thankfully, they're both ready to go, so I tell her that Eddie and I will meet them in the hotel lobby.

The two of us hurriedly leave our room, making sure we have our essentials and make our way down to the lobby, where my mom and dad are already waiting for us, along with our security detail.

"Finally you guys! You took your time getting down here" my mom jokes with us.

"We're a few floors above you don't forget" I answer back in an equally joking fashion.

"Wow David. I haven't seen you look this sharp in quite a while" Eddie says as he eyes up my dad's 3-piece suit.

"I was happy just coming in jeans and a nice shirt, but Holly insisted I put some effort into what I wear tonight..." he tells me before then turning to my mom.

"Have you tried fitting into men's skin-tight jeans? There's more effort in trying to put them on than there is putting on a suit" he jokes, causing Eddie and I to release a laugh.
