We get Jaime's POV and a few of his feelings. Jaime and Tywin talk and Tywin let his son know a few things. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

Jaime was overwhelmed by all the people around him since he returned home. His father had looked at him almost like he was a ghost and for the first time in many years, Jaime had seen emotion in his father's face. Cersei and Joffrey had been livid when Tywin had informed them of the deal he made with Robb Stark. Both of them preferred war before giving up the North. His father had made it clear that if they wanted to continue a war then they were more than welcome to, but they would not be counting on his gold or soldiers. While Cersei and Joffrey had been furious they knew they could not keep things going without Tywin's support, even if they had the Tyrells'.

Cersei had barely looked at him and when she did he could see the disgust in her eyes. Jaime did not look the same way he had two years prior. He had lost a lot of weight and was incredibly dirty. Jaime had also noticed the way his sister had looked at their cousin Lancel and knew that she was fucking him. He should have known Cersei was not going to wait for him. His sister had never been a patient person, but Jaime did not care. He had heard of some of the things Cersei had done and what she allowed Joffrey to do and he was disgusted by both of them. His sister was a cruel and petty woman and Jaime was happy that Myrcella would be far away from her.

Another thing that had taken Jaime by surprise had been his father's marriage. When his uncle Kevan had told him they would be returning to Kings Landing Jaime had believed Robb Stark had finally decided to exchange him for his sisters. Instead, he had found out that his father had married to oldest Stark girl and had come up with a peace treaty. Jaime was not sure how he felt about his father being married. It was a strange feeling, thinking of his father with a woman who was not his mother.

Jaime looked at himself in the mirror and tried not to flinch. He looked horrible, but his father had insisted they had supper together and Myrcella had come to invite him personally. He was happy to see his niece again and wanted to spend more time with her. One of the guards escorted him to his father's solar and Jaime was surprised to see that the only one there was Serena Stark. He could understand why his father had wed her, even while she was young she was a beautiful woman. She was wearing a gold gown, that was not too simple, but not extravagant either. Her flame colored hair was partially braided and she had a smile on her face as she spoke quietly to one of the maids.

"Ser Jaime." Serena had been quick to mask her surprise, but he had still been able to see it. "It is a pleasure to see you once more. I am happy you are finally back."

"Yes, your brother had a hard time letting me go." She did not flinch, but her smile fell a little. Jaime shook his head. "I am not sure what to call you, I am older than you so I do not feel comfortable calling you mother. Lady Lannister, perhaps, or do you prefer to be called Lady Stark?"

"You could just call me Serena." She was still being sweet even while Jaime knew he was being rude to her. "That is my name."

"I am curious." Jaime approached the table and took a seat, his eyes never leaving her. "How did you manage to get my father to marry you? Last I knew he swore he would never marry again."

"He just needed the right initiative." While her voice was soft and she sounded calm, Jaime could tell she was not comfortable. "After the mess Cersei and Joffrey created he needed a way to get the north and we both know he was not going to marry my brother."

Jaime let out a laugh, not having expected her to make that last comment. He could not even say anything to defend his sister and nephew. Serena was right, Joffrey had eradicated any talk of peace when he took Ned's head.
