" Ahhhhhhh." The feminine shriek on the other side of the call pierced through Azlaan's ear.
" Mehreen?? What happened?? Who is it??" Azlaan asked frightened, his heart thumping in his ears.
" You stupidd!!" Mehreen screamed.
" What? Mehreen what's wrong??" Azlaan asked loudly. Why the hell isn't she speaking clearly?
" Sorry sorry, it was just a stupid pigeon flapping its wing on my windowsill." Mehreen said releasing a heavy breath.
" And you screamed because of that?" Azlaan asked sternly.
" Hnn toh I got scared." Mehreen excused.
(Yes so I got scared.)
" Do you know how terribly scared I was??" Azlaan scolded.
" Maine kaha na sorry, ek toh main akeli hun orr pehle hi itna drr lgg rha hai mujhe." Mehreen said slowly.

" Akeli?? I told you to call your friends, then??" Azlaan asked getting angry.

" Hnn toh I texted them, they all were busy except for Priyanka, toh she came. Lekin phir use bhi jaana tha date pe toh she left an hour ago." Mehreen explained.
(Yes so I texted them, they all were busy except for Priyanka, so she came. But then she too had to go on a date so she too left an hour ago.)
" I'll send Sahil." Azlaan said.
" NOO!" Mehreen said instantly.
" And why not?" Azlaan asked frowning.
" He haven't eaten yet, orr thhoda enjoy krne den aap use."

" Hnn toh itni der kiya na manage, 2 3 ghante Orr kr lungi."

" Itni drr kyun lgg rhi hai waise?" Azlaan asked while motioning a waiter to serve tea to the guests.
