Itadori stood in front of a classroom door, gazing at it with curiosity and nervousness.

The boy had just been transferred to a school in Tokyo despite living in Sendai his whole life.

His small hands clutched onto the straps of his bookbag that he was carrying on his shoulders, opening and closing his fingers every few seconds.

Finally, he released one of his hands from the straps and reached a closed fist out.

Soft knocks echoed capturing everyone's attention that was inside.

"Come in!" Itadori heard a man's voice say.

'That must be the teacher.' Itadori had thought before sliding the door open with a bright wide smile on his lips.

A man with short, messy white hair and vivid blue eyes was the first thing Itadori had seen.

"Introduce yourself to the class," the man ordered kindly.

Itadori stood beside the teacher's desk and looked around the room for a few moments before his eyes landed on a boy about his age.

After a moment or two had passed, Itadori then bowed.

"Yuji Itadori, I'm from Sendai. It's nice to meet all of you!" Itadori happily greeted his new classmates.

Whispers and looks of awe were sent in the boy's direction.

However, Itadori's eyes landed on the boy he was originally staring at again.

"Well, Yuji-kun. I'm Satoru Gojo, but you may call me Gojo-sensei like everyone else in class here," Gojo piped up.

Megumi scoffed quietly at the man but said nothing.

Gojo's eyes scanned the classroom before noticing the empty seat beside Megumi. "You'll be sitting beside Megumi-kun over there. Megumi-kun, raise your hand."

Megumi stiffened up when his name was called and sent the man an annoyed look but raised his hand anyway.

Itadori's smile widened as he headed over to the empty seat beside Megumi and sat down.

Megumi shifted himself and the chair he sat in so that he wouldn't be close to the new kid.

Itadori didn't seem bothered by this as he placed his bookbag under the table and trapped it between his feet so that it wouldn't get in anyone's way.

Gojo pushed himself up so that he was no longer leaning against the desk.

"Alright class," the man began as he picked up a stack of papers that sat beside him. "Our assignment for today will be an easy one. You're all going to draw yourself as whatever you want to be in the future," Gojo explained.

Itadori listened closely to what his teacher was saying since he didn't want to screw up on his first day of school in Tokyo.

"And for the last ten minutes of class, we'll be doing a share-and-tell to your classmates," Gojo then smirked as he handed out a single slip of paper to everyone. "You may all start now."

Itadori took a pencil out of his pencil box, looking over the paper that had been handed out to him before looking at Megumi.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Yuji Itadori," Itadori greeted.

Megumi eyed the pink-haired boy. "I know," he replied.

Itadori didn't seem bothered by the cold response as he continued with the conversation. "What's your name?" He asks.

Megumi frowned a little. "Megumi Fushiguro," he answered as he turned his attention to the boy who sat beside him.

Itadori had a pencil hovering over the piece of paper as he lowered his voice.

"Do you have any ideas of what you want to be in the future, Fushiguro?" Itadori questions.

Megumi stayed silent, ignoring the boy as he started to draw whatever came to mind.

"I want to be a delivery person when I'm older and help my grandpa out," Itadori says as he starts to draw himself on the piece of paper dressed in a delivery uniform.

Even though it looked like Megumi wasn't paying attention to the pink-haired boy, he actually was.

The other students in the room were muttering to their seatmates quietly, looking over at Itadori now and then with curiosity.

But Itadori didn't notice it since his attention was all on the boy beside him.

Megumi Fushiguro.

"You should stop talking and finish what you're doing," Megumi finally says.

Itadori blinked, realizing that Megumi was right.

"Sorry!" Itadori quietly whispered before turning his attention back to the piece of paper in front of him, wanting to get his very first assignment done.

The first class of the day was coming to an end with only five minutes remaining in it.

Megumi and the other students had already given out what they wanted to be in the future and why they wanted to be that.

And now?

It was Itadori's turn.

"Yuji-kun, you'll be the last one seeing as class is about to end. Do you mind sharing with the class and ending it on a good note?" Gojo asks.

Itadori got up onto his feet, holding the piece of paper in his hand.

"What I want to be when I'm older is to be a delivery boy," Itadori confidently answered with a bright smile on his lips.

Megumi flinched a bit when he saw how bright his seatmate was.

'He's like the sun... Warm and bright.' Megumi thought, feeling a bit annoyed at how much Itadori seemed to be a social butterfly and a loud extrovert.

"Is there a reason why you want to be a delivery boy?" Gojo asks, an amused smile being seen on his lips.

Itadori immediately nodded his head. "I want to help out my grandpa!" He answered. "I want to give him back everything he's done to raise me," he declared.
