Taehyung, a 22-year-old young man from a wealthy family, has experienced a tragic loss. Last year, his parents were involved in a car accident and sadly passed away. Since then, his older brother Taemin has taken over their father's business.
 In contrast to Taemin, Taehyung has always been rebellious and carefree. Surprisingly, he didn't seem to be affected by his parents' death. In fact, he felt relieved that his father, who used to scold and mistreat him, was no longer around. Taehyung's behavior has always been problematic, often skipping school, getting into fights, and even stealing money from his parents. Despite his friends' attempts to intervene, he never listened and instead indulged in partying and excessive drinking, sometimes taking advantage of girls in his intoxicated state. To prevent his son's actions from being exposed, his father would give Taehyung money to keep him satisfied.
 Despite his troublesome behavior, Taehyung still possessed a compassionate side. He was deeply affected by his mother's death, which was a result of his father's abuse.
 Being young at the time, he was unable to help his mother, as his father was a cruel man who only cared about his business. After his mother's death, his father remarried. As Taehyung grew older, he discovered that his father had plotted to harm his mother, which filled him with anger and resentment. He always hoped that his father would face the consequences he deserved. 
Although Taehyung never accepted his stepmother as his own, he recognized that she was actually a kind-hearted person who had been unaware of his father's true nature until she married him. She too suffered abuse when she didn't comply with his father's demands, but before she could take any drastic measures, both of them tragically died in the car crash. Taehyung felt a sense of guilt for his stepmother's plight, although he never showed it. As he grew older, his rebellious nature intensified, as he believed that being kind made him appear weak. He had been bullied in school, but now, no one dared to challenge him. He decided to move to Seoul and purchased a house far away from his past life,  He indulged in a lifestyle of constant partying and casual encounters with various women. His brother generously provided him with a substantial monthly allowance. The only source of comfort in his life were his friends, who would come to visit him occasionally. Taehyung's circle of friends consisted mostly of individuals who identified as gay, including Namjin and Yoonminseok, leaving him as the sole single member. Unbeknownst to him, fate had a surprise in store, as he would soon encounter someone who would become truly significant in his life.
