The sky was brightening up as the two rode. They didn't speak, Cassian too tired, and Daryl too concentrated on not crashing.

Cassians head popped up as Daryl made a noise. "The hell?" There was a car infront of them, two cars infact. The girl brightened up.

"Maggie! That's Maggie's car!"

"Rick." Hershel spoke sternly at the man. The four of them had made it to the highway, but nobody else was here. "You gotta get your boy to safety. Juddy and I will wait here for our girls and the others. I know of a few places. We'll meet up at one of them later."

"Where? Where is safe?" Rick urged. Judd looked over to Carl, the boy sitting on the hood of a truck not too far away. "We're not splitting up."

"Please... keep your boy safe." Hershel pleaded. "We'll hide in one of the cars. If a walker gets to me, then so be it." Judd scoffed at Hershel, shaking his head. "I've lost my farm. I've lost my wife and maybe my daughters."

"You don't know that." Judd snapped at the man. "They'll be here."

"And you don't know that." Hershel spoke.

"You're a man of God." Rick spat. "Have some faith."

"I can't profess to understand God's plan." Hershel told the two men beside him. "But Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind."

"We stick together." Rick told them before he walked over to Carl.

Judd sighed as he scrubbed his eyes. He could only hope his daughter was with somebody safe. The man paused as he heard a groan.

"Mierda." The man grabbed Hershel by the arm and padded his way over to Rick and Carl. The four of them hid behind a truck as a walker stumbled past. They didn't have anything quiet to use to kill it, so they just had to hide from it for the time being.

"I don't know how much longer we can stay here." Hershel admitted in a whisper.

"I... I'm not leaving without Mom." Carl told them defiantly.

"So we're just gonna walk away?" Rick asked Hershel. Judd ignored the two as he looked above the cars to the road, shielding his eyes from the sun with his hand.

Judd tapped Rick on the shoulder, gradually getting harder as the man ignored him. When Rick finally looked at him, Judd pointed with a relieved smile.
