Tywin makes a decision on Serena's proposition. He also talks to Cersei and Joffrey. I hope you guys like it 🥰

Serena was awoken from her slumber by a maid walking into her chambers. She sat up on the bed, pushing her hair back and looking at the woman. The maid laid something on the day bed, before moving closer to the bed and handing her a scroll. Serena looked down at the scroll and when she lifted her head to ask the maid who had sent it, the woman was already out of the door. She broke the seal on the scroll and opened it immediately.

Lady Serena,
I have made the decision to accept your conditions and would like to discuss the particulars with you. I would prefer if this was kept a secret until we have reached a mutually beneficial agreement. I have provided a gown for you, one that fits you, and will be sending the seamstress to make you some more. I will meet with you this afternoon for the midday meal.
Tywin Lannister.

Serena wanted to scream her happiness, her eyes filled with tears as she read the small note once more. She could not believe he had accepted her conditions. She was not stupid, Tywin Lannister could have taken her any time he pleased without moving a finger. He could have taken her as a mistress and no one would have batted an eye. This meant that Sansa would be safe, and Joffrey would not be able to beat her sister any longer.

Serena got out of bed, moved to the fireplace, and threw the note into the fire. She did not want anyone to know until things had been worked out. She then moved to the day bed where the maid had placed the dress, picking it up and turning it over. It was grey, her house color and it was made of silk and lace. It was a very pretty dress and she could tell it would fit her. She had forgotten the last time she had received a new gown, it had been before her father's death. Her old gowns had gotten shorter and tighter as the years passed and she grew. She had to let out most of her dresses and used some of the other ones to fix Sansa's gowns.

"Serena." Sansa ran into her chamber and Serena laid the dress back down, turning to look at her sister, who had a large smile on her face. "Lord Tywin sent me a new gown. There was a knock on my door and it was one of the red cloaks. He said that Lord Tywin had sent me a gown and would send a seamstress later today to make more."

"That is great news." Serena could not help but smile at Sansa's excitement. "Here, I will help you get ready."

Sansa gave her an excited nod, before sitting in front of the mirror, allowing Serena to brush her hair. Times like this made her miss her mother, Catelyn Stark had used to brush her hair. She had done it for Sansa also, but her mother was far away now. There was nothing she could do for them.

Serena helped Sansa dress, smiling at how well the gown fitted her sister. She braided Sansa's hair, just the way the younger girl liked and smiled once she was done. Her sister looked beautiful like the lady she was.

Serena had one of the maids help her bathe and dress. She noticed the look on the woman's face when she noticed the new gown. Serena did not trust any of the maids that tended to her or her sister, they had all been sent by the queen. The maids were spies, making sure both girls toed the line and did not do anything they were not supposed to do. She had the maid braid her hair, leaving only a few curls framing her face. The woman kept looking at the gown but did not ask any questions. They were well trained and even when Serena and Sansa were prisoners they were still ladies. Questioning or offending them was a serious offense.

Serena left her chambers, stopping when a dark haired man wearing the red cloaks uniform stepped in front of her. She could not help the way her hands tightened on the skirts of her gown. Her experience with knights lately had not been the best.
