"I love you, I do. You have my word– you have all my words."
- Lang Leav
Aslan's country, ???
Olivia had imagined heaven in many ways.
The first time she imagined heaven, she was six and began to ponder the question of what happened after you died. Her idea of heaven was a place filled with books, like a library, but only the floors were made of chocolate, and the books turned into chocolate after you read them.
The second time she imagined heaven, it was a little bit closer to the truth. She was in Narnia, during the golden age, and Lucy had just turned 18. She saw they were getting old, and one day, death would come for them. She imagined a peaceful place, something like the western woods, where they could live forever: Olivia, her loved ones, and nature.
But, her heaven was just like Aslan had shown her many years ago, during her second time in Narnia, when she was feeling down, and he gave her a glimpse of what awaited them.
Heaven was perfect.
Her new home was an infinite field of tall grass and violet orchids, and you couldn't see the end of it. There was a big house, where all the friends of Narnia lived, plus Mr and Mrs Pevensie and her aunt, Hillary. A small hill was about one yard away from the house, with a tall and looming tree with big branches, a swing set hanging from one of its branches.
The house was structured in an ancient Greek manner, just like Edmund used to idealise in his architecture lessons. It was big, with about ten rooms, two kitchens and two living rooms. Inside, it was cosy and reminded Olivia of Cair Paravel back in its glory days. Each room was decorated to suit the person living inside it, and if your taste changed, so did the room on its own.
And there were small details that made it all seem so worth it. If you wanted to cook something, you could, but if you only wanted to grab a bite, the kitchen could magically create the food for you on its own. If you wanted a book, you could literally summon it from thin air.
Time worked the same in Aslan's country and the real world, which meant one day there was one day here. They could accompany society as it moved forward, watching as the Cold War escalated, televisions were invented, and it was so magical.
Aside from her little piece of heaven, Olivia had a lot of fun as a member of Aslan's council (or Jesus? She honestly had no idea what to call him). The friends of Narnia were mainly called for cases that were harder to judge. A guy who planted a bomb on his ex's house, but then he felt sorry and created three charities—stuff like that.
Everything about Aslan's country was exactly the place she wanted to spend eternity. The more time she spent there, the more everything about the worlds made sense. They were now the council of the friends of Narnia, the only humans who had gone to more than one world.
