The river glowed in the company of the setting sun. "The moon is over hyped just look at the sun burning to make the world shine" I expressed my thoughts without tearing my gaze from the sun "The sun said the same untill it met the moon. Inspite of being consumed with darkness the moon emits light even when sun can't. Where the sun rays have the audacity to burn the world moonlight balances with it's cool." he said looking in my eyes with intensity.
"It sounds impossible but just imagine a universe where moon and sun are not considered opposite but each others companion a world where they not just exist but live under one roof. The story of moon and sun, the story of burning desires and benumbed love witnessed by the darkness itself."
He thought for sometimes and said "Maybe they never were to be compared and treated as supplement to each other when they are complimentary. Maybe that's why eclipse were not to be seen because them together against all odds will not be bearable to all!" a smile tugged on both of us lips as we turned our gaze back to the setting sun.
"Dii, Jiju look at these" Ridhi beamed passing her phone to us "Some of your candid shots isn't it perfect!" they really are "Thank you" I muttered "Your photography skills aren't that bad" she frowned at his statement "It was a compliment or something else.... " she scoffed "You take it as a compliment" he shrugged she narrowed her eyes glaring at him as we took out are bikes from the parking.
"Dii it's dark now you sure it would be safe like the roads must be all empty now." she frowned holding on me tightly "Relax we aren't alone he is with us." I looked at the mirror but his bike was not visible stopping the bike I turned to find the road all empty where did he disappeared.
"Jiju kaha gae?" she stepped down to look clearly. I took out my phone to call him but with a jerk a man snatched the phone as a group of 3 men stood in front of us "Excuse me Bhai Shabh what was that mera phone wapis kariye" I tried to sound confident but was hell scared even if we screamed no one would be able to hear. 
They laughed as if I cracked a joke. Ridhi being the younger one hid behind me. Bhagwaan......main kiske peeche chupu.....vo to pata nahi kidhar gae! I took a deep breath when his bike came in view stopping abruptly he stepped down and stood beside ne holding me by my waist he whispered "All okay calm down baby I am here" 
Their laugh died gaining their postures back "Phone, purse, jewellery sab hume dedo or nikal lo." one of them said. Taking his wallet out he gave them cash we stood there with our mouth hung open "Phone main photos hai vo nahi dunga baaki ka aap upi se lelo!" he shrugged casually. 
"Online lelo?! Like seriously ladna hota h na???" I asked in disbelief "Par ladna kyu hai inka bhi kaam hojaega or hum bhi safe rahenge non violence baby.....haa bhai scanner hai ya phir phone number se bhi kaam hojaaega" he turned back towards them I kept a hand on my head.
"Rahiszaade ki aulaad hai lagta hai?" one of them said "Madamo aapni saari jewellery utaro" another said taking a step towards us "Arey! bhaiyaa nakli h dekho." I showed them my oxidized earrings their grin got replaced with a frown.
"Ek to ye bhi bohot dikkat hai aaj kal aadhe se jada aurte to nakli pehen ke ghumti hai humara bhala kaise hoga?" "Sahi baat hai! " Rehzaan nodded "Arey! aap kiski team main ho Jiju" Ridhi snapped from behind "Of course inki....nahi tumhari!" he changed his words as I glared at him. 
"Ye mangalsutra to asli hai or mehnga bhi bhaiya diamond hai! " the other 2 nodded "haa madam ye do or jao!" the head among them said grinning evily I shook my head in a no "Nahi dena hai?" Rehzaan asked softly god this man kya hogaya h aaj?? I shook my head "Madam ne to mana kardiya or kuch chalega?" he turned towards them.
"Madam ke mana karne se kya hota h jo hume cahiye vo cahiye" he extended his hand towards me but before it could touch me Rehzaan held his hand the 3 attacked him together but ended up on road dusting his kurta he kicked the head's leg and said "Jab main apni madam ki marzi ke khilaf nahi jata to tumhein kaise jane dunga pyaar se keh raha tha ittna lo or janne do par laato ke bhoot baato se kaha mante h." His voice was not loud but cold.
"Jiju jab lad sakte the to ittni der inhe entertain kyu kiya?" Ridhi asked coming out from my back "They too must have families to feed. Right or wrong is a different thing but just like we work this is their but that doesn't mean they got a license to hurt her. I am selfish it's her before anyone and everyone, before all the rights and wrongs." my stomach flipped hearing his words.
"You got hurt?" he shook his head but his knuckles were white taking a mental note to apply some ointment on them we rode back. Dropping Ridhi and Raman's bike at Sehgal mansion I joined him wrapping my arms around him I kept my head on his shoulder looking at the the full moon shining above us our conversation on the ghat replayed in my mind. 
He is my sun "I can die for the eclipse!" I muttered lost in my thoughts "If someday the moon disappeared the world will not be able to bear the wrath of sun. Without moon sun would destroy every particle along with himself." He spoke after a long pause. I could not see his eyes but the deepness in his voice served as a promise more like to himself. 
It sent chills down my spine. Tightening my hold I buried my face deeper to make him know that I am here with him "The moon will never leave her sun alone not even if sun wants too!"
