Roseanne's POV
Diana clasps her hands with mine once again, pulling me closer to her side as we walk somewhere. "What are we doing here?"
"I am taking you on a date today," she said, her hand snaking to my waist, drawing my body.
"B—but why?"
She didn't reply, only led me to one of the houses on top of the tree, decorated with some lavishly yet minimalistic. "How much do you spend on this place, Ac—Diana?"
Her head didn't even turn to me, but she continued doing her things. The tan hand reaches for foods and such delicacies that have been seen before. More importantly, the more I see it, the more I realise how the food resembles my palette. We continue to sit in silence as the sounds of Diana's movement fill in the air.
My eyes couldn't help but trail to this vixen as her muscles flaunted every time she made a movement, yet it was so graceful and elegant that I couldn't help but look at it. I notice how her features and eyes narrow to make everything perfect in her POV, her brows scrunched, and she lightly bites her lips when she thinks something. Without realising much, it draws a smile to my lips, and Diana turns around to meet it.
The corner of her lips turns immediately, revealing those pearly white smiles. "Why are you looking at me?" Her eyes expectantly waiting for an answer, but I decided to turn around, watching the magnificent scenery before me. It will be Aurora soon; I should've focused on this instead while tormenting Diana.
Yet, she is so persistent that I didn't realise how fast she had to reach out to me, with her face close to mine once again. My startled face turned to a smirk before tilting my head slightly, not wanting to look into her eyes. Knowing I am teasing her, she plays along with my game. She put her forefinger against my chin, demanding me to look at her. "Look at me, little Rose."
I still refuse to submit to her command, challenging herself even more. Her eyes darken slightly at the corner of my eyes as she speaks again, "Roseanne Esmeray Auclair, look at me." Her finger slightly grazes my chin, and thrills crawled into my skin when she said my full name. My golden eyes immediately meet with hers.
"Care to answer my question just now?" She raises her brows, her silver eyes looking at me.
"You didn't even answer mine. How am I supposed to heed your words?" I look into her eyes before to her luscious lips for seconds and go back to her dark silver eyes.
Her pupils dilated, and I could feel her heartbeat slightly faster than usual. She chuckles, hiding her face in the crook of my neck. "I was too occupied in my mind that I didn't even hear your question. My mind is on another place, thinking you would like this or not."
She slightly presses her fingers onto my clothes, sighing in delight to ease her nervousness.
"I do like it, Diana. How couldn't I if I knew about this place in the first place?" I reach for her dark hair, playing with the silky hair.
"I am glad to know that," she smiles.
"Now, answer my questions, will you? Why are you bringing me out for a date, and how much do you spend on this place?"
She pulled back, looking right into my eyes. Her gaze softened, wetting his lips before biting it slightly internally. "To say that I am sorry for breaking my promise of spending time with you as soon as you finish your midterm."
Her words broke me out, as I didn't expect much that she would mend the broken promises. I sit there, doesn't know what to do or say, as she snuggles into me much closer. Her hands reach for my waist, drawing me into her arms even more as I feel her muscles flex. I squeal from the sudden movement, yet harden my body with many physical touches.
