"So...I choose...." Yuki said as she looked at both sides waiting for her answer. She crossed her arms and plopped down on the ground, crossing her legs as she smiled, "Neither!"
Demons and Hashira alike looked at her with bewildered expressions before they all simultaneously said, "WHAT!?"
"Yeah, I'm tired of being caught in the middle. You can either all share or not at all," she giggled.
"H-HOW DO YOU EVEN EXPECT US TO DO THAT!?" Uzui yelled at her comically.
"Simple, share and create peace. Once and for all," she said as she clapped her hands together.
"Cupcake...in case you haven't noticed, we all hate each other," Akaza said as he placed his hand over his face.
"Not to mention they eat people!" Sanemi yelled at her.
"I have a solution for that. I have been keeping Muzan fed with my blood only for like the past three years. I can continue to do that and for the rest of them, they can agree to only hunt and eat bad humans!" she said with a bright smile at how clever she was. Everyone looked at her as their eye twitched.
"What about all of the other demons?" Giyu asked her with a raise of his eyebrow.
"They can either get with the program or die. We will give them the choice. And Muzan has to stop making them too," she eyed him as he flinched at her gaze.
"How do we know that they won't continue once you die Yuki?" Kyojuro asked worriedly.
"I will walk in the sun the moment she breathes her last breath. I have already promised her that as well as not to turn her into a demon," Muzan said with a sigh, remembering the conversation they had not long ago.
The Demon Slayers all looked towards each other and nodded. Mitsuri ran off and came back a few moments later, holding Kiriya Ubayashiki in her arms. She set him down carefully as all of the Hashira guarded him as he walked towards the progenitor of demons.
"Can we come to peaceful terms?" he asked Muzan ,showing no fear for such a young boy.
Muzan nodded at the boy, "so long as Yuki is safe throughout the process. If she wishes for a peaceful resolution for both sides, then I will not fight against her."
Kiriya nodded and turned towards Yuki, "well Snow Hashira, let us go make a declaration of peace."
Yuki grinned as she stood from her seated position. She held her hand out for Kiriya to grab, which he did with a gentle smile and held her other hand towards Muzan to hold, which he too did. They walked hand in hand into the Ubayashiki estate, to make a contract, lining terms on each side.
For the demons, they would only hunt people deemed worthy and placed on a hunting list for them. It consisted of terrible humans that would be better off dead than housed in jail. Yuki also promised to keep the king of demons satiated. Muzan also agreed to not make any more demons and not to turn Yuki under any circumstances. So long as these rules were followed, the demon slayers would leave them alone and let them live in peace.
For the demon slayers, any demons they came across had to be given the decision to follow the rules. If any chose not, they were executed on site. For those that did, they were simply left alone. any demon slayer that didnt follow these rules were placed on the hunting list for the demons.
The negotiations took a few days but once it was complete, peace was brought to the country. Once those negotiations were set, it was time for Yuki's.
She sat in the middle of the living area of the Gem Estate with Sanemi, Uzui, Kyojuro and Giyu on one side and Muzan, Akaza, Douma, Kokushibo and Gyutaro on the other side. She kept both of her girls on her lap as the men stared down at each other.
"So, what shall we agree upon loves," Yuki chimed in cheerily.
"I propose monthly exchanges," Muzan stated simply with narrowed eyes.
"We could agree to that," Uzui said as he too narrowed his eyes.
"Beautiful! Now then, I shall stay here with the humans for the first month and then we shall switch off yes?" she said as she clapped her hands.
"Yes," both sides agreed.
Yuki lived out the rest of her life this way, being shared with the people she loved the most. She had more children with the Hashira's giving each one a son. Muzan forbade any one to try and get Yuki pregnant, he knew she would die and wanted to spend as much time with her as they could. Yuki not only was able to watch her children grow, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Yuki lived to be one hundred years old, out living Kyojuro, who dies peacefully in his eighties, Sanemi, who died of sickness at the age of seventy-seven and Uzui, who died in his nineties. Muzan made sure the demons kept their end of the deal as did Kiriya with the slayers making peace remain with both sides. Yuki died in the arms of both Giyu and Muzan, her final wish before she passed peacefully in her sleep. Muzan, as well as the rest of the upper moons, walked into the sun the next morning to be with her in the afterlife while Giyu remained alive for one more year, before passing on to be with her too. When Yuki reached Heaven, she was surrounded by not only her families in this world but her family in the world she was forced to leave behind. Even though she was torn between two worlds for all of her life, she would not change a thing.
