Tim : I'm okay with it
Noah : so you'll adopt me 
Tim : yes 
Noah *hugs Tim 
Tim *hugs back 
Noah : okay I'll be in my room *goes  back to his  room 
Tim : I can't believe that just happened 
Lucy : well it did babe 
Tim *kisses her cheek 
* they went under the covers and falls asleep

Lucy : I'll get it *answers it 
Ava : uh hi does Noah live here 
Lucy : Noah there's a girl at the door for you 
Noah *walks out : hey

Tim : Noah invite her in 
Noah : on uh yea come in 
Ava *walks in 
Noah : so why you here 
Ava : school project did you forget 
Noah : no I uh I didn't I mean I 
Ava : Noah are you okay 
Tim : yes he's fine why don't you go to him room and do the project and I'll just have a word with Noah 
Ava *walks to Noah's room 
Tim : what is going on with you 
Noah : she's the girl that I like 
Lucy : oh my god you like her 
Noah : mom not so loud 
Lucy : sorry bud Just be yourself 
Noah : okay *walks into his bedroom 
Lucy : I can't believe my baby boy has a crush 
Tim : baby he's growing up 
Lucy : he's still my baby boy 
Tim *kisses her forehead 

* Noah and Ava finished the project Noah walked her out they said goodbye 
Lucy : you gonna ask her out 
Noah : why would  someone want to be with someone like me 
Lucy : I would bud you've had some good times and bad times bud look at you now I want you to be happy 
Noah : thanks mom I love you 
Lucy : I love you too



* the next day it's Monday Aaron and Nolan are on patrol 
Noah *walking home from school
Nolan *put the gun down 
Man *sees a kid walking grabs him puts gun to his head 
Noah : uncle Nolan 
Nolan : leave the kid now 
Man *goes into a building with the kid puts him to a chair ties him up 
Nolan *grabs radio - 7-100 we have a hostage situation we I need you to inform Sargent Bradford and detective Chen 
Girl : copy that sending them right away 

* Tim and Lucy arrived at the scene 
Nolan : Tim Lucy 
Lucy : what's going on why did you need us here 
Nolan : there's a hostage in there and it's a kid 
Tim : yea we're doing everything we can to get him out 
Nolan : Luce you know the hostage 
Lucy : what who 
Nolan : it it it's Noah Luce
