I click send for the application. Its either a scam or a prank but why not take the chance, what if turns out to be real.
I go on about my day. Days pass and then 2 weeks go by then one morning i was scrolling through my inbox. I saw an email from f1 and i thought it was one of those newsletter typa stuff. But no this was addressed to me.
From: F1 management 
To: Isla Newman
Dear isla,
  We are pleased to announce that you have been selected to join us for the next season. We will send you all the details tomorrow. All expenses will be covered all you need to is to just confirm you will be joining us. We will have a zoom meeting tomorrow to discuss everything. I hope you are pleased about. See you soon.

Oh my god. So it was true. I cant believe this. I quickly replied and then i was sent a zoom link for tomorrow. That night i couldn't even sleep because of how excited i was.  
I wake up early eat breakfast and i start getting ready for the meeting.
I shower and i pick an outfit and i do some light makeup to look presentable.
Its almost time for the meeting to i open the laptop just to be ready and i start scrolling through tiktok. Before i knew it was time for the meeting. 
I join and im greeted with two people. 
"Hello isla" A woman said.
"Hey, how are you all?" I asked.
"We are good how are you?"
"Very honored and excited to have been selected."
"Well my name is sofia and this my colleague logan. We work in the marketing department of F1 and you have picked join us at the Grid."She said.
"Yea and all the flight and living expenses will be taken care off. All you need to do is show up. But you also need to sign some stuff for legal reasons." Logan added
"Sound like a plan. Im guessing you be mailing all the contracts." I said.
"Yes, make sure to be packed up for by next week. Id recommend 2 to 3 suitcases because you'll with us the whole season." Sofia said.
"We'll send a vehicle to pick you up to take you to the airport on Wednesday morning. You probably won't ever see as again because we work at HQ." 
"If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask or call." Sofia finished.
"Thank you so much. Nice to meet the both of you."
 "Have a good day" i said.
I get the contract and NDAs the next day after i sign them i mail them to the f1 management team.
Now time to pack. I groaned but also love packing stuff.
