🧣 "Take me out and take me home"🧣

                                    

                                          
Bam sits in the doorway of Jungkook's closet watching him struggle to find an outfit. "What about this one Bam?" Jungkook asks the doberman. "Do you think he will like it?" Bam just stares. "Bam you are not helping me. He is gonna be here in 10 minutes and I'm still in my pajamas. So give me something" Jungkook sighs. 
Jungkook thought it would be a GREAT idea for Taehyung to come over to his apartment. Why would he do that you ask? Panic. Pure panic. He obviously wanted to go out with him, but when asked where, he panicked and said his own apartment. 
So this brought him to where he is now. Standing in his closet with silk shorts and a plain t-shirt while arguing with his dog who can give no true opinion on his outfit. 'Casual. It's just cooking at my house, nothing fancy,' Jungkook thinks. 
He finally decides on some baggy ripped jeans with a white tank top and a long sleeved sweater with some hearts cutout of it since he gets chilly easily. He pulled half of his curly hair up but there's no avoiding the little pieces that fall in the front (that make him look even cuter). He cleans up some random stuff around the apartment. He has to make a good impression on Taehyung.

He hears the doorbell ring and his heart drops. The butterflies fill his stomach once again. He takes some deep breaths and opens the door. He sees a smiling Taehyung, holding flowers, wearing dark jeans with a tan long sleeve sweater. "Hello Jungkook!" Taehyung says with a faint blush on his cheeks. "Hey Taehyung.. Please come in!" 
He really tries to hide how nervous he is, but Taehyung must have noticed because he says "Jungkookie you can relax. I got you some flowers!" Jungkook chuckled to himself and flashed his signature bunny smile. He tries to settle down before taking the flowers. "Thank you.. These are beautiful, what are they?" he asks. 
"Tiger Lillies! They are one of my favorite flowers. I think they are just so pretty!" Jungkook's heart stops. Tiger lillies are his birth flower. He hasn't seen one of them in years but it's been in the back of his mind. "How did you- nevermind. Yes they are beautiful, thank you again!" He smiles while hiding the blush on his face. With the combination of the nickname, the flowers, and Taehyung being here at all is overwhelming for him. He takes the flowers and puts them in a vase by the big window in his living room. 
He walks back to the entrance to see Taehyung petting Bam. "He must really like you. He can be pretty skittish with new people but he ran right up to you in the park the other day!" Jungkook explains. Taehyung replies with a simple hum and a smile. 'God that smile will be the death of me,' Jungkook thinks. "So you want to see my artwork?" he asks Tae. 
"Yes! I love how you drew me so I wanna see what else you made too!" he says. Jungkook nods and tells him to sit on the couch. He grabs his sketchbook and sits a safe distance from Taehyung, but close enough that he can show him his art. 
He opens the first page and hands the book to Taehyung. "Some of these first ones are pretty old. I wasn't as serious about it back then as I am now," Jungkook explains. He's so nervous to show Taehyung his artwork. He wants him to like him. 'If he wanted to go on a date he has to like me right?' 
"Wow this one is really good! You really drew this?!" Taehyung asks with a hint of shock in his voice. The look on his face is an impressed one, but also curious. "Yeah that one is pretty recent. Bam just looked adorable so I thought it would be fun to draw," Jungkook's voice is shaking with nerves. The picture of concern is Bam laying on the couch with his head pointed towards the window. 
"Bam loves looking outside. Probably looking at birds or something" Jungkook became all shy. He curled into himself a little more to hide the shyness by feeling a hand on his forearm. 
"Jungkook, it's okay, silly. You don't have to be so shy. Even though I find it adorable, I am just a person. So you don't have to hide your cute little face when you get all flustered hm?" Shoot, Taehyung went there. He went THERE. 
Jungkook's eyes widen when he replays what Taehyung's called him. "silly," "adorable," "cute little face." He nods slowly and clears his throat. Take a deep breath. "okay.. um.. are you hungry? I can cook for us" Jungkook nervously asks Taehyung. 
"Sure! I'm okay with whatever you like but the only request I have is that mine is not spicy. I cannot handle spice well at all" If Taehyung doesn't want spice then neither does Jungkook. He makes them Makguksu (which just happens to be one of Taehyung's favorite foods) and they settle down across from each other at the dinner table.

Jungkook thought that conversing with the really cute boy from the park would be really hard and really scary. But after Taehyung started asking him silly questions to break him out of his shell, he felt a lot better. Tae asked him about some of his favorite things-colors, food, music-and they talked about their dogs too. Jungkook learned that Tae is two years older than him and has a birthday in a few days. 
"I think I will consider your sketch of me as an early birthday present. I'm going to frame it and put it on my desk so I can look at it and think of you" Taehyung just about knocks the air out of Jungkook's lungs. They have moved to the couch to watch a movie and Taehyung has just said he wants to think about him. 
Jungkook tenses up, not sure how to respond to that. Taehyung just puts his hand on Jungkook's shoulder and laughs. "You're cute Jungkookie but loosen up a bit. Tonight is supposed to be fun and you are trying to hide away. I wanna see your face, you know?" Taehyung just doesn't stop does he?
Little does he know Taehyung is just as nervous as him.
