RJ and Ryumi entered the apartment, the familiar surroundings bringing a sense of comfort. They exchanged smiles, expressing their contentment about being back home.
Ryumi chuckled, "Ah, it feels so good to be back. Nothing like the warmth of our own space."
RJ nodded, "Exactly. No matter where we go, home is always special."
They settled in, Rio, full of energy, darted around the apartment, excitedly exploring every corner.
RJ laughed, "Looks like someone else is happy to be back too. Rio missed his territory."
Ryumi teased, "Oh, absolutely. He's the king of this castle, after all."
As RJ and Ryumi unpacked their bags, they engaged in lively conversation, sharing the highlights of their time away.
RJ asked with a smile, "How's your father doing now, Ryumi?"
Ryumi's face lit up, "Oh, he's much better now, thanks for asking. The doctors were pleased with his progress, and he's slowly getting back to his usual self."
RJ sighed in relief, "That's fantastic news. I'm glad he's on the road to recovery."
Ryumi nodded, "Me too. It was a bit challenging for a while, but he's a tough one."
They continued to unpack, revealing souvenirs and gifts they had brought for each other.
RJ held up a small trinket, "I got this for you from one of the places we visited. Thought you might like it."
Ryumi grinned, "Oh, it's adorable! Thanks, RJ. I brought you something too. Let me find it."
As they exchanged gifts, the room filled with laughter and shared stories.
RJ glanced at the ring on her finger, a blissful smile spreading across her face. She lifted her hand and admired it, still in disbelief.
"I can't believe you and Daehyun surprised me like that," she said with a dreamy expression.
Ryumi chuckled, "Well, it was mostly Daehyun's idea. He wanted it to be special."
RJ's eyes sparkled with happiness, "And it truly was. I didn't see it coming at all."
Ryumi leaned back on the sofa, "Daehyun was so nervous beforehand, checking and rechecking everything. But when he got down on one knee, he looked so confident and happy."
RJ nodded, "He did. It was like he found his moment, and I was just swept away by the whole thing."
Ryumi joined in the excitement, "Daehyun really put a lot of thought into it. He wanted to make sure it was a moment you'd remember forever."
RJ nodded, "He definitely succeeded. I was so surprised when I saw him there, and then he popped the question."
Ryumi teased, "Did you cry?"
RJ playfully nudged her, "Maybe a little. Okay, maybe more than a little. It was just so overwhelming, Ryu."
They both laughed, reliving the beautiful memory of Daehyun's heartfelt proposal.
Ryumi added, "You two looked so happy together. I'm genuinely happy for you, RJ."
RJ's eyes twinkled, "Thank you, Ryu. I never thought I'd be the one getting engaged. Life is full of surprises, isn't it?"
Ryumi leaned forward with interest, her eyes sparkling. "So, anything interesting happen while I was away?"
RJ pondered for a moment before breaking into a grin. "Well, actually, I had an encounter with our neighbors. They seem like really nice people."
