Shit..
Fuck, where is he?
Surely a Marine didn't get inside?
I swear I didn't see anyone..
God dammit Zoro think!
"Fuck!"
Zoro lightly hit himself on the head, shouting a curse throughout the room.
A small, somewhat whimper was present, but Zoro couldn't quite tell where from.
"Sanji?"
Zoro looked around the room. He was sure that Sanji wasn't there, he wasn't on his bed, so where else could he be?
Zoro slowly began to approach the centre of the room, scanning each bit of furniture.
"Sanji? Are you there?" Zoro could hear him, but he couldn't see him.
Zoro stepped forward and looked around. There he saw a bundle of black hair wedged between the bed and the wall.
"Sanji! Thank god your okay!" Zoro reached out to Sanji, supposedly trying to get him out of the tight space.
Sanji turned his head and met eyes with Zoro. It was almost like he froze with shock the minute he looked at the man who stood above him.
Sanji started to cry, sinking further into the gap. He was panicking, trying to get away from Zoro at all cost.
"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you Sanji," Zoro said softly. But it didn't calm Sanji down in the slightest, only distressing him further.
Zoro came closer in an attempt to get Sanji out of the hole he had hid himself in, but Sanji just sunk further down and whimpered when Zoro came closer.
"Sanji, it's okay," Zoro reassured.
Sanji weakly kicked Zoro's hand away, making him purposely stumble back.
"Well, I wonder who we have here? The broken swordsman and the missing cook of the Strawhat pirates."
A voice came from the door. It was deep and slightly threatening. Zoro turned his head and scowled at the man in the Marine uniform.
"The fuck are you?" Zoro stood up from the ground and went to draw his swords. Although when he reached for them, they were not there.
Shit.. I left them outside in case Sanji got scared of them...
"Looking for these? How could you leave such precious little things out in the open?" The man said, pulling Zoro's three swords into view. The Marine scanned the blades up and down, smirking as Zoro clenched his jaw.
"Such pretty swords, it's such a shame they belong to pirate brute."
"Give them back."
The man looked up, meeting Zoro's eyes. The glare could have killed any normal person, but this guy was different.
"Why should I? I'd love if these pretty blades were hung on the wall in my office, forever reminding me of the two pathetic pirate lives I ended on this very day."
"Give my swords back before I break your fucking spine."
The man laughed.
"You think you'd be able to lay a hand on me? I'm one of the new Vice Admirals, and you think you'll be able to kill me? My, my Roronoa, I heard that you've been in a bad state recently. Do you really think you've healed enough to have the strength to fight me?"
"I don't care if you're strong or not, if you touch my swords or Sanji, prepare yourself for a painful death." Zoro spat, blocking Sanji who cowering in the corner.
"Ha! Talking big are we? If you really think you can kill me, come and fight me. Or, are you too scared to leave your pathetic crew mate unprotected?" The man dropped Zoro's swords on the ground and slammed his heal onto them. Zoro couldn't bear the sound, but he had to remain calm. He couldn't leave Sanji on his own.
"Come on, don't you want to have some fun?"
"Shut the hell up.."
The vice Admiral laughed before walking towards Zoro, pulling a knife from his pocket. Zoro backed up slowly, guarding Sanji by stepping in front of him.
"Your bounty is still quite high Roronoa, and I sure need he money-
-So this will be an easy kill."
