A/N: Trigger warning for physical abuse.

_ _ _

Felix, Han, and Hyunjin heard the gunshot while down in the bunker. Upon the loud bang, the three of them froze and their eyes darted towards one another. Exchanging worried glances, their attention went to the ceiling.

"What the fuck was that?" Hyunjin asked.

"Suzie said we're in the bunker beneath the white house. Do you think there's a shooting up there?" Felix's gaze never left the ceiling.

Nobody responded. Everyone seemed to be waiting for another shot, but it never came. Han shifted in his seat, "I don't like this. You don't think that the guys are attacking, do you?"

"No," Felix shook his head. "They're not that reckless. Chan told Hyunjin that it could take a while before he figured out a way to get us out of here. This is Chan we're talking about."

"I can't believe they took our phones," Hyunjin frowned. "I never had a chance to back up all my photographs. I wrote poetry in my notes app and now it's gone."

Beside him, Han snorted and Hyunjin returned it with a glare. He huffed and dropped his cuffed hands onto the table. "I want to go home and go back to my room. I was in the process of trying to rebuild my art gallery and now here we are. This fucking sucks!"

The three continued to talk to each other. They were a lot more lively, since Suzie began bringing them food twice a day. The three of them began to start somewhat of a friendship with her. Since Lucas Wilson took over the director of the secret service position, things had changed and Suzie didn't like it.

Suzie had been in the secret service for as long as Marvin Wilson had. She had just as much experience and she had leadership skills unlike Marvin's son. When Willie picked Lucas over her, she was pissed. So when Lucas hauled three men down to the white house bunker and told Suzie to let them starve, she had no problem doing the opposite.

Lucas and Willie hadn't made another appearance down to the bunker. Nobody knew why. The days were ticking by and Suzie became their keeper. She tried to keep them entertained by telling stories, but there was only so much you could talk about before everyone grew bored of each other.

Han shifted his hands and placed his palms into his eye sockets. He hadn't had his anxiety medication in nearly a week. Without the pills, his body was withdrawing from them. His anxiety was numbed with the medication. It could spike every now and then, but it wasn't overwhelmingly suffocating as it was without it.

He didn't have a chance to wean himself off of it. Being captive meant he quit cold turkey. So far, he experienced a plethora of symptoms ranging from the occasional hallucination to disassociation and permanent numbness. It was so bad that Felix and Hyunjin had to keep reexplaining the situation to Han.

He couldn't feel anything. His usual feelings were dampened and dull. There was no happiness, but there wasn't sadness either; just an inescapable numbness. It wasn't anger, it wasn't fear, it was nothing. His brain switched off his emotions while it tried to cope with the lack of medication.

At some point, voices came from the hallway and paused their conversation. Felix was the first one to turn in his seat and glance at the door. "That doesn't sound like Suzie."

"I hope she didn't get caught feeding us," Han mumbled.

The voice grew louder and Hyunjin let out a sigh. "Here we go again. What does the stupid bastard want now?"

The door to the bunker slammed open and Kiera was thrown inside. She yelped and shoved out her hands. Her body slammed into the cold concrete hard. Tears filled her eyes as she took a shaky breath. The moment she entered the house from seeing her psychiatrist, her father went ape-shit.

He grabbed her, insisted he needed to show her something, and dragged her downstairs. When she told him his grip on her wrist was hurting her, he tightened it with gritted teeth. He unlocked a wooden door and shoved her inside.

Felix, Han, and Hyunjin looked down at Kiera in shock. They didn't know she was back at the white house. Felix's heart sank because surely if Kiera was here, she would have been captured somehow. Were the rest of the guys okay?

Kiera struggled to shove herself back up. Her ribs were still healing from being beaten. The unforgiving concrete wasn't helping. Bruises on her body had faded into light browns and darkened yellows, but they still ached.

Willie stepped forward and jerked the back of her shirt up. He yanked his daughter to her feet. His fingers twisted into the fabric around her back. "Young lady, you have a lot of explaining to do."

"About what?" Kiera's voice raised. "What the fuck did I do?"

"I want the goddamn truth! Do you know these men? Have you worked with them?" Saliva spat on Kiera's cheek. She let out a cry of pain as his nails dug into the spot between her shoulder blades. "Answer me!"

"Let her go!" Hyunjin jerked himself to his feet. "This has nothing to do with her!"

"Sit the fuck down!"

"Or what?" Felix taunted.

Willie shifted his grip on Kiera. He reached an arm back behind him and pulled out a handgun. He left the first one with Philip, but he had more than one. He shoved the barrel of the gun into Kiera's skull.

"Sit the fuck down or I blow her brains out!"

"What the fuck is wrong with you? She's your fucking daughter!" Felix yelled. Anger built up in his body.

The barrel dug further into Kiera's skull. "Don't fucking test me!"

Hyunjin's cuffed hands clenched into fists. He lowered himself back into his seat. His chest heaved with angry breaths.

"Why are you hurting her? You already have us," Han finally spoke. "You have no reason to hurt your daughter."

"I want the truth, Kiera. Did you work with these men willingly or not?"

"I-"

"Tell me!" Her father barked. His facial features were scrunched up. His usual pale face turned tomato red. There was a vein bulging in the top of his forehead.

When she didn't respond, he turned the gun to Felix. The animalistic noise that came from the back of Kiera's throat shocked everyone. She lunged for his gun, but Willie was stronger than she was. He wrapped a tight arm around her torso and pinned her arms to the side. Her ribcage screamed in objection.

"Stop! I did!" More tears filled her eyes. "I was working with them willingly! Don't hurt him, I'll do anything!"

A grin grew on her father's face. Sobs began to pour from her body as she begged through tears. "Please, d-don't hurt him!" She struggled to see through tears.

"Anything?"

"Anything," her voice cracked at the end.

"Then we are going to go upstairs and you are going to swallow your medication. We're going to sit down and you're going to spill the entire truth to me. If you want these three to live, you're going to tell me everything. If you lie, I will slowly torture them to death in front of you. Don't make me turn into a monster, Kiera."

She barely got her head to move as she nodded. She sniffled and tried to see through her tears. At least, all three of them were alive. She knew where they were all staying now. She could go back to her room and text Chan on the burner phone.

Everyone held their breaths. The members of Stray Kids stayed silent. Kiera sniffled a few more times. All eyes were on Willie while they waited for his next move. His gun was still trained on Felix's head.

Felix didn't flinch. He ignored the barrel and kept his eyes directly on Willie's. He wasn't going to die a coward. Willie's eyes bore into Felix's. He couldn't believe his daughter was willing to do anything for this man. It made his blood boil and it caused his heart rate to rise.

Just because he could, he pulled the trigger.
