"I got it furnished already because I knew we wouldn't get time you know." 
I smiled and gave her a big kiss on her right cheek which made her giggle. She looked at me as I raised my eyebrows, to which she just leaned forward before making her way to the Kajal under her gorgeous eyes and applied it behind my ear. I smiled and asked while leaning equally closer to her. 
"What was that for?" 
"Kisi ki nazar na lage mere pyaaree se jay ko, my lucky charm." 
She pulled my cheeks and kissed my nose. I let out a content sigh out of satisfaction and love which filled my heart to the brim due to her actions. I joined our foreheads together and held both of her hands in mine before speaking.
"You are my lucky charm jaan. Let's light the diya now..before the annoying gang come back." 
She laughed at my words and nodded before putting some ghee in the kept lamp, lighting it before closing her eyes and joined her hands together in front of the almighty. I smiled at her before joining my hands too. Thanking God for everything...for my everything♡.

After bowing my head in front I slightly turned my head toward Rooh and bowed my head a little before quickly turning in front as she opened eyes.
I was about to say something but was cut off by a series of loud ringings of the doorbell. We both looked at eachother and sighed before getting up to open the door. 
As soon as we opened the door, Srishti came in while squealing in happiness as she kept on clicking the pictures of the surroundings. Rooh and I exchanged a glance before rooh stepped toward her and tapped on her shoulder before speaking.
"Shant madam, baki sab kaha hain?" 
"Aree..they are coming, actually we bought some take away for you two and it was not packed but I was tired so I came first." 
Rooh hugged her by her waist and said in a dramatic manner while whipping her imaginary tears. I chuckled at the dramatic bestfriend duo. 
"Haye..meri behan..I was soo hungry thank you thank you!!." 
"Koi na meri beti. Bss bss." 
They both laughed and came inside totally ignoring me while I stood there like I was invisible or what? Excuse me! Did she just stole my girl? I rolled my eyes and shrug my shoulders, when I saw the boys coming in with two bags of food. 
"Wahh!! Yeh itna saza kyu rakha hai?" 
Veer said as he looked around the entrance. I showed them a awkward smile and went inside while shaking my head as if I had no clue. Ravi pushed veer inside and said.
"Tujhe kya karna hai? Tu andar chal na." 
Karan just rolled his eyes and went inside too.

Coming inside I found Rooh and Srishti sitting on the couch while eating. I smiled looking at her laughing as she ate happily. I could just feel full seeing her eat. 
"Jay, if you haven't forgotten we are here for the meeting. You should focus on that too you know." 
Karan's sarcastic and taunting voice caught everyone's attention. I who, was leaning against the open kitchen's counter with my arms crossed against my chest, looked at him with raised eyebrows. 
"Look who is talking about focus! I very well know that I AND RAVI are here for the meeting." 
I shook my head at his audacity to talk about focus when he is the one who wasted all the assigned money for a project in his parties. I looked at Rooh who gave me a sign if she should kill Karan. I smiled at her expressions and shook my head before passing her a flying kiss which she reciprocated.
