While Dom and Deckard stood just feet away from each other almost taunting one another, April was hatching a plan to free herself. She knew a small army of men that were most likely Doms enemies would burst through a nearby door start shooting very soon.

With April chained to a pole, there was no guarantee she wouldn't be caught in the cross fire and so fishing through her hair she found a lonely hair pin. Quickly working it back and forth she snapped it in half. Next she grasped around behind her feeling for the padlock. Due to the extensive training her brother had put her though as a teen, April found the lock with ease and withing seconds she had picked it and was untangling herself from the chains.

Just as she stood up, the door was thrown open. In stormed an small army of men which happened to be the same people that stopped April from going anywhere earlier. Only different was now April got a good look at who the supposed leader was and it was someone she wanted to forget.

Mose Jakande.

He was the one to orchestrate the kidnapping of her and Ramsey in order to obtain God's Eye. Her stomach churned at the thought of her brother working with the same guy that kidnapped and threatened to torture her.

The shots fired out and with her quick thinking April flicked a switch cutting the lights. Her aim was to put everyone in the dark but she hadn't thought her brother would have kitted out the others with night vision goggles.

Instead of helping Dom and the others, she'd put them in more danger which only added more evidence to Doms ever expanding list of reasons April was working with the enemy.

Brian made a bee-line for April, honouring his promise. She saw Brian make his way over to her, effortlessly avoiding the stray bullets.

"Can you walk?" He asked, trying to be heard over the commotion.

April nodded and accepted Brian's hand. He pulled her to her feet and she sprinted to a nearby table. On the table laid out were her knifes and a small handgun. The handgun had a magazine full of bullets already inside it but a couple spare were also on the table.

Grabbing the spare magazines of bullets, along with her knives and handgun, April took off following Brian who was now trying to catch up with Dom. The dark made the fight many things, difficult and unfair were words that crossed April's mind. It also made it impossible for her to keep tabs on her brother, whom she lost sight of very early on.

Using the handgun, April was able to provide some cover as she and Brian met up with Dom. By which time Mr Nobody had been shot and it became apparent that they weren't going to get out alive unless they left that second.

April took one last look around, hoping to catch a glimpse of her brother even if it was to shoot him. However, he spotted April before she did.

April suddenly fell to her knees. A seering pain was accumulating in her shoulder. Placing a hand to it, she whinced at the pain. Her fingertips were coated in something wet and sticky. In the dark she couldn't see the colour but she didn't need to see it to know what it was.

Someone took hold of her arm and wrapped it around their neck and began helping her walk out the building. Just before leaving, April turned and tried to find her brother but the darkness made it impossible. As the 4 of them made it outside, April tried to use her arm to shield the sun from her face.

The pain was too much and she passed out, going limp.

*Inside April's head*

"Pathetic."
"Weak."
"Worthless."
"Useless."

"You're a Shaw, act like one!" Owen screamed at her.

"We are feared for who we are!" He continued.

"Yet you can't even
win a street race."
April replied, not
fearing her brother.

Owen just glared at April before he slapped her. April just smiled, knowing she'd struck a nerve.

"Weak."
"Disgrace."
"Stupid."
"Pointless."

Shoved into a tiny box room, April heard the key turning in the lock. She then heard a faint sound of a stopwatch being started. Scoffing quietly, she fished through her hair quickly. When her fingertips felt the particularly familiar feeling of hair pins, she chuckled.

20 seconds later April shoved the door open and gave her brother a smug expression.

"Fastest time yet." He stated, almost proud.

"What can I say, I'm
improving." April
replied.

"Maybe you just
might be." Owen muttered as he walked away.

"Not bad."
"Good."
"Better."
"Perfect."

Looking at the interior of the car, April felt everything fade into the background. The only thing that mattered in the moment was the car.

"Not bad, is it?" Owen
asked chuckling
slightly.

"How in the hell
did you afford this
beauty?" She replied
in admiration.

"The usually
Shaw family way."
Owen answered,
a hint of pride in
his voice.

"Of course." April
said with an eye roll.

"It's okay."
"You're safe."
"I promise."
"Nothings going
to hurt you."

The sun rose in London, a rarely seen occurrence. April was awake first which was something she would often be at home. Of course she wasn't there anymore but old habits died hard.

April quietly snuck out and headed to where her car was. It wasn't some super duper fancy high end car but it was hers and that's all that mattered to April. The car in question was a series 2 BMW.

Of course April had made more modifications than she could count on both hands but she'd made it her car.

Ramsey found her elbow deep in the engine of the car that morning, having watched her for several minutes before making her presence known.

Spinning round, April smiled at Ramsey with an apolagetic smile.

"Is everything looking
okay?" Ramsey asked
slightly concerned.

"Oh, yeah. I got
restless that's all."
She replied.

*In Abu Dabhi*

"April, please wake up." Ramsey pleaded.

"We need to get the wound stitched up." Letty said gently, placing a hand on Ramseys shoulder.

"Just a few more minutes, please." Ramsey replied, giving April one more gentle shake.

"My blood type is red." April mumbled quietly, taking hold of Ramseys hand...
