All through the night Taehyung lay awake occasionally looking to the empty bed across the room. When he had tried to comfort the younger earlier he was roughly pushed away. He fell back and collided with his desk chair.

"Don't touch me" Jungkook hissed, standing back up. His legs shook and stumbled a little but the look he gave Taehyung had him sitting still not moving to help again. Jungkook retreated back out the door, slamming it in the process.

The other didn't return all night and Taehyung got no sleep waiting for him. He wasn't sure how to go about this situation, all night he racked his brain trying to piece together how he knew Jungkook. Coming up with nothing, he sighed in frustration, the light was starting to filter in through the window when he finally was able to drift to sleep.

That didn't last long though when his phone began ringing relentlessly and someone was continuously knocking on his door. He groaned pushing the blankets away, and opened the door to whoever was interrupting his sleep, readying himself to throw hands if he had to.

"It took you long enough, I've been calling you for an hour now" Jimin shoved past him and entered the room flopping on his bed. "You look like shit by the way"

He slammed his door, reeling in his anger remembering that Jimin was his friend. "Thanks" he snapped, not controlling the annoyance in his tone.

"Woah. What the hell's got you pissed?"

Taehyung fell beside him. "He knows me. Or knew me, that much is for sure" he closed his eyes as a headache started to form from frustration and lack of sleep. He still, even now, had no idea who his roommate was to him, but the others words proved otherwise.

"I knew it. He seemed like he despised you. What'd you do to him?"

"I don't know Mini, I can't place him. I seriously stayed up all night trying to remember him but I can't."

"Hmmm. Well you did used to be an asshole, no offense"

Jimin was right, he did used to be an asshole, someone he's not proud of. He cringes when he remembers his past. "I know. He called me that too, an asshole. Also called me abusive."

Jimin turned to him, he could see the pain eating at his best friend, it's not that he deserved it or didn't, in fact he kind of did. If Jungkook called him out on his past then Taehyung most likely did deserve it. Young Taehyung was misguided and troubled, he took what was happening in his personal life out on the people around him. When he first met him it was also like that, actually their first meeting wasnt rainbows and butterflies. He ended up punching Taehyung and lecturing him about who he was as a person. In short he was an asshole. That name fit him to a tee, and seemed other people, Jungkook, agreed.

But the Taehyung today was different. He had changed so much over the years, became a good person, someone nice and warm. In fact, he was always this way, he just had a hard time showing it considering his upbringing and home life. Jimin saw through it all and helped him, Taehyung even ended up moving in with him and his family when they were 16. Thankfully Jimins parents welcomed him with open arms and showed him what a family should be.

"Oh Tae, I'm sorry. I can see this is truly getting to you." He hugged Taehyung sideways "I think you should have a proper conversation with him."

"I know, it's just he seems to want nothing to do with me."

"Well try again"

Opening his eyes he came face to face with a chest. He rolled onto his back, freeing himself from the limbs that were holding him in place. With the urgent need to pee he pushed off the bed to only be pulled back into the other. "Yoonie" he whined. "Gotta pee"
