Jada Walker - 19
"Dante!" I yell as I trip trying to keep up running behind him with bullets flying behind us.
"Damnit Jada" he runs back and grabs me running with me over his shoulder.
I jump awake gasping before the gunshots turned into beeps and Dante's touch went away as i opened my eyes looking around at the bright room and monitors around me.
"Dante?" was the first thing I could get out.
Where the fuck am I?
In a hospital... for what?
I look down at my arms seeing an IV in my hand.
"Hello" I say looking at the door and trying to see through the window.
I scoot back trying to sit up and move my arms and legs to see if I'm fine, feeling a pain in my arm and stomach.
I move the blanket and see my stomach wrapped up in a bandage as well as my arm.
Did I get shot?
"Goodmorning ms.Walker, sit back and relax" The nurse walks in carrying a warm blanket.
"Where's Dante" I sit back.
"Who?" She asks making me mug her.
"Huh? Is Dante not here" I ask as she covers me up.
"You're brother is in the waiting room, would you like to see him instead?" She asks checking the monitors.
"Yea" I lay my head back thinking.
"Jada" My brother fastly walks in and hugs me.
"You ight" he looks all over me.
"I'm ok it don't hurt that bad" I say.
"Where's Dante" I ask him and he shrugs.
"Shouldn't you know" he asks and I look at him confused.
"Why would I ask you if I knew" I mug him catching a attitude cuz that pissed me off.
"Well you was prolly with him right" he says and I sigh looking over at the door as Honey runs in.
"Jada are you okay" she hugs me tightly.
"I'm okay" I hug her back.
"Where Dante" I ask her.
"All I know is he left already" she shakes her head.
"Somebody call him" I start getting worried and irritated.
"Gimme your phone" Honey holds her hand out and I look around.
"I don't know where it is" I sigh.
"Hol on" JJ rolls his eyes calling Dante on his phone.
"He didn't just decline that shit" I say after it ends taking his phone and calling again.
"Why is he doin this shit" I get frustrated after it declines again.
"Jada. just worry about healing okay, get some rest and when you're out of here you can worry again" Honey says trying to calm me down.
"Look, you get some rest and me n the boys will look for him" Juju adds on.
"Okay thank you, Julius. I'll just rest" I sit back trying to relax.
"Okay we'll hit you when you get out" Jj gives me a fist bump leaving.
"Okay ima be back, I'm just gonna see when you get out" Honey kisses my head and leave out the room finding a room.
I lay back thinking and processing the whole situation.
Only thing I really wanna know is where Dante is and why the fuck he not in here with me.
"Okay J, you leave in the morning at 10. So ima go get you some dinner and bring it back for you tonight and I'll be here to pick you up tomorrow" Honey tells me before leaving to get said food and drop it off.
