Today's the day. The festival celebration. The sun rises, greeting the villagers. Sirène woke up too early than usual, because she was too excited for the festival.
As she woke up, she does her usual activity, walking around the beach. She went home after walking and decided to make her own breakfast, since Neytiri told her how to cook. She grabbed the ingredients she needed and started cooking. After cooking, she grabbed the food that she cooked for herself and ate it.
The Sullys woke up, eating their breakfast Sirène made for them. Sirène made breakfast for them too so that Neytiri didn't need to cook again. They all were cleaning up and getting ready for the festival. They wore their clothes Sirène made for them and went outside.
The first horn blew, meaning there are ocean tribes who came already. The Sullys went out to check it out. Tonowari and Ronal greeted their guests. The Sully kids went closer to take a look, and thats where they saw Ao'nung, Rotxo, and Tsireya, wearing the cloth that Sirène made for them.
The Sullys and the Metkayinas soon talked. They noticed the twining cloth of Tsireya and Lo'ak. Ao'nung's face was so red that he was challenging Lo'ak. Neteyam laughed and held Ao'nung so that he didn't ruin the moment.
Then night time came, a bunch of the ocean tribes were singing and dancing. There were also a bazaar.
Sirène ran back to the Sullys house, she literally forgot to continue to sew her clothes for the festival. A bunch of curse words came through her mind. How could she forgot about this? This was supposed to be her special day, since she's never celebrated a festival before.
She got rid of her thoughts and started sewing really fast. She was focusing and didn't even know that the festival has started. The festival was so loud and so cheerful, but Sirène didn't even heard what they were doing. As soon as she was finished, she quickly put the cloth on and ran outside to go to the festival.
As she arrived, the Metkayinas and a bunch of ocean tribes were looking at her. Sirène's emotion was mixed between shyness and happiness. All the na'vi's eyes were looking at her like she was a ghost or something.
"Everyone, grab one by one of your candles. Light it up and go to the nets." Tonowari said, starting the ritual for the mighty skimwing to choose a rider. The na'vi's were grabbing their own candle and went to the nets as Tonowari commanded.
As soon as all the people there arrived, Tonowari said.
"Let the Mighty Skimwing choose its rider." They let go of their candles onto the never ending sea. From afar, the na'vi's could see the mighty skimwing approaching the candles, choosing one of it. It remembers the na'vi's candles one by one, and he would took one of the candle and flow it towards the rider.
The mighty skimwing chose a candle and started to flow it towards the chosen rider.
"What..." Sirène whispered under her breath. The candle was flowing towards her as the skimwing waited for her to do the bond.
"No way.." Jake whispered.
"What.."
"But how.."
"It's impossible.."
Na'vi's unbelievable voice were heard. Sirène widen her eyes, she couldn't believe what she just saw. The mighty skimwing was waiting for HER.
Sirène leaned forward, "Choose someone else." She pats the skimwing.
"It is decided, Sirène. The mighty skimwing cannot reselect its rider." Tonowari said to Sirène as he stare at her.
Sirène proudly nodded and bonded with the mighty skimwing. The villagers cheered for her, her friends, and her family did too. Her family were so proud of her.
And from that day on, she became the mighty skimwing's rider.
