"This got damn vending machine !", Regina stated before she kicked it. "Girl, stop before you get in trouble.", I say as I grabbed her shoulders. "This piece of shit just ate my damn dollar ! And it didn't even give me my damn drink !", she exclaimed as she kicked the vending machine once more. Suddenly, the vending machine rustled out a sprite can. "Oh. Hm.", I heard Regina say as she bent down to pick her soda up.
I shook my head. "Now, we can start the day.", she said as she opened her soda. We were both excited to start our first day this morning. We got up and made each other breakfast in the dorm, played music, prayed and just got ourselves in a good mood. I texted my grandma and brother, and Jace and Nick of course. We waited on Vivi and Cassidy in the girls lounge as we all wanted to start our first day together.
"Where you think they putting the try out sheets at ?", I asked Regina this morning. "In the cafeteria or near the gyms I believe.", she told me as she took a sip of her soda. I felt my phone vibrate. I looked down at my screen to see a text from Jace. I then look up out the window into the parking lot, seeing him in the distance.
He was leaned on what I'm guessing to be his car. Drew, Nick, Phil and Josh were all there, indulging in their own conversations. I saw Jace's face and immediately started to smile. He saw me and winked. I playfully rolled my eyes and chuckled. He then licked his lips and looked down at his phone again. Those lips. 
"I might've been drunk last night, but if I remember anything, it was definitely you and Mr. NBA making faces at each other all night long.", I heard Gina say, causing me to turn my focus back to her. "He just missed me and I missed him. We don't know what to do with ourselves except...stare at each other.", I say as I turned to look at Jace once more, who was now in conversation with his boys.
"Yeah right. That man was watching you dance while he was wrapped up in his own lil situation.", she laughed. "Hush, you know he love that girl. I can see it on his face.", I say as I shake my head. "Wanna talk about why that bothers you ?", she asked me softly. I took a big sigh and shook my head. "Nah. I'll get over it anyways.", I say.
"Delusional. Okay.", Regina quickly said. I quickly look over at her with a frown. "Look at that man. That's chocolate city at it's finest.", she said as we faced the window again, admiring Jace's features. He let his hair grow out and that well groomed mustache above his lips just made him so handsome. Don't get me started on his clear skin. "Y'all lucky I like my men like me.", Gina said with a smirk. "Big and beautiful."
I watched as she winked at Phil. He smiled back at her and waved. "Yeah, if y'all ain't a match made in heaven then I don't know what is.", I say as I watched them interact. "You and Nick could be the next IT couple though.", Gina stated with a smirk. "I mean, you and Jace would be THE IT couple but hey, you got the next best thing."
"Do I want the next best thing ?", I ask myself a loud, turning to face Nick at the window. I watched as he bounced around, doing basketball tricks. Him and Jace were like neck and neck when it came to the game. There's something about Jace that just puts him further at the top. "Y'all would make some cute future mixed babies.", I heard Gina say. I chuckled, turning to face her.
"You right. Imma stick to Nick, cause he's available, not cause of the babies.", I say. "Part of it was cause of them babies, and don't lie.", Gina laughed. I shook my head and laughed with her as Vivi and Cassidy finally made it to us. "Good morning ladies !", Cassidy said with a smile. "Good morning girls. Y'all ready ?", I ask them. "I spoke to Vince this morning. He said good luck to us and the boys.", Vivian said with a small smile.
