After breakfast, we all said our goodbyes and started heading off. Once everyone was gone, Jamie and I decided to go to my parents' house to visit Angie and talk to my parents. Since it wasn't that far, we chose to walk there and breathe in some fresh air. Surprisingly, the streets were empty and there was no sight of paparazzi. They probably hadn't realized that we've returned to London already. It's likely that they were still searching for us in other countries, expecting us to attend more events.

As we were walking side by side, our hands grazed against each other and it sent sparks through both of our bodies immediately. It was driving us both crazy but we couldn't do anything about it. Neither of us wanted to ruin things because we didn't know that the feelings were reciprocated. No, not like we didn't want to. We couldn't. After a while, we finally reached my parents' house. At first glance, it appeared devoid of life, almost abandoned. Suddenly, one dark-haired teenager ran out of the building as if she drank 5 coffees in a row.

"Calla! Jamie!" Angie yelled across the yard as she ran up to us, almost knocking us to the ground with her hug. Her arms fell around the both of us, hugging us tight.

"Hey, Angie. Good to see you. It's a pity that you couldn't stay with us in Germany for a while." Jamie smiled down at my sister sweetly as he hugged her back. I always loved the way he acted with her. He was always great at handling kids, even ones as deviant and disobedient as my sister.

"Yeah, I was so mad at mom and dad after how they acted that I didn't talk to them for days. Especially mom though." Angie said as she pulled away from us, gleaming.

"How are you feeling, kid? Everything okay?" I asked her, my 'protective older sister' mode on. I needed to make sure that my parents hadn't hurt her in any way.

"Now it's good. Mom and dad are still kind of angry and grumpy though." she said and I nodded, ruffling her hair with a smile.

"Where's Rocky?" Jamie asked and as soon as he spoke the name, a golden bunch of fur rushed by us, tackling Jamie to the ground. Our golden retriever, Rocky, licked Jamie all over his face in greeting, making him laugh.

"You wanted him so here you have him." me and Angie giggled as we watched Jamie trying to push the dog off himself.

"Hey buddy. Long time no see." Jamie laughed as he scratched Rocky behind his golden ears, finally getting the dog to release him.

"Let's go inside now. I want to get this over with as soon as possible." I said with a sigh, my smile fading completely. Jamie noticed the anxiety and stress in my eyes so he squeezed my hand and smiled at me reassuringly before we all walked inside, Rocky right behind us.

"Well, well, well. Who do we have here? Honey, come quick! Look who just crawled back home!" my father yelled at my mother the moment he saw the 3 of us walk inside.

"Well, nice to see you. Have you finally come to your senses and decided to return to us?" my mother questioned, entering the living room and raising an inquisitive eyebrow. She completely ignored Jamie's presence.

"Actually, she's come here to-" Jamie started speaking for me but I stopped him.

"It's okay Jamie. I got this. Take Angie and Rocky out. I want to speak to my parents alone." I said and Jamie looked between my parents and me worriedly, unsure of what he was supposed to do.

"Are you sure? I can stay if you-" Jamie started again but I cut him off once more.

"Jamie, I'm sure. I'll talk to you after we're done here." I said and Jamie didn't say another word. He just nodded before taking Angie and Rocky and leaving.

"You think she's gonna be okay?" Angie asked Jamie as they walked outside, looking back at me nervously.

"Of course. Don't worry kid. Your sister's a really strong person and even if she won't be okay, she'll always have me to take care of her." Jamie said to my sister, probably smiling as she hugged him tightly, as if she was afraid to let go off him. He untangled himself from her arms as he led her to a bench and Rocky joined them. As soon as I was sure that they were out of earshot, I turned to my parents.
