Explosions and shockwaves reverberated across the training ground inside the barrier as Chul and I clashed, it's been almost three months since Arthur and Myre went into the Relictombs to bring Sylvie back, during this time Chul and Caera trained almost non-stop and boy had they improved
Chul was now capable of fighting at full power for four hours straight without exhausting himself, not only that but he actually became stronger since he didn't have to worry too much about running out of steam anymore he could employ more sophisticated strategies and got more creative with his mana arts, Caera had improved both her void wind and soul fire mana arts, while she didn't manage to learn the same trick Cadell was capable of I taught her how to nullify incoming spells and how to disable her enemies defences, as she is right now she's probably on the stronger end of retainer level and she still has room for improvement
Gideon and his team had also finished installing all the jammers across Dicathen so no one will be able to open portals in Dicathen without permission also we managed to build a massive army of autonomous golems that would patrol the skies and the seas 24/7, with this if the asuras or Agrona decided to launch another attack Arthur and I would be immediately notified and could teleport back, this meant that things were finally safe enough for the Council and my family to come out of the Sanctuary much to their joy
As our fists clashed for the nth time I perceived a familiar mana signature approaching
"I think we should stop for today" I told Chul
"Why? I can continue" Chul stated eager to improve even more
"He's back" I said
"Which means..."
"Yep, soon we'll go to Alacrya" I confirmed as I dissolved the barrier around our us and headed towards the hangar
We reached the hangar just in time to watch Sylvie in her dragon form land and Arthur jumped down from her back, Sylvie's form shimmered and she turned into her humanoid form
"You really took your sweet time huh" I told them
"Well in our defence it's a little difficult to keep track of time in the middle of literal nothingness and with a different flow of time" Art argued
"Sylvie, it's good to see you again and I thank you for saving this idiot of a brother of mine" I said turning to face Sylvie
"No need for thanks, I couldn't allow this stupid papa of mine to die just yet, mama wouldn't be able to take it" Sylvie replied with a toothy grin
"What day is it today? The everyone badmouth Arthur day?" Art asked exasperated and Sylvie and I laughed
"Okay, enough with the jokes, now that you're back we can finally plan our next move" I stated turning serious
"What is there to plan, your brother is here let's hop in a portal and go kick Agrona's ass" Chul declared
"Hold your horses bird-boy, if we're going to go after Agrona we need a plan and a pretty damn good one to boot" I told him
"Next stop Council room" Art declared
"Woo hoo" Sylvie said deadpan as we left the hangar
