"Ms. Bardot can you stay back for a moment please." Professor Flitwick said quietly. I nodded in response and told Marlene I'd meet her later as the rest of the class filed out of the room. I slung the strap of my bag over my shoulder and waited. The door opened almost as quickly as it was shut. Students started to come into the room, or more like a student had entered the room.

"Library!" the raven-haired boy exclaimed as he set his bag down and walked up to me grinning happily. "Didn't think I'd see you again so soon not that I'm complaining." He chuckled lightly.

"Flitwick said he needed to speak with me so I'm waiting on him. What are you doing here so early? Next period doesn't start for at least 15 minutes." I smiled brightly up at the boy.

"He asked me to come early said he needed to discuss something."

"Oh, it appears you two have already met, that makes this easier." The slightly squeaky voice of Professor Flitwick rang through the room. I look at the boy, who is already looking at me, with a raised eyebrow and slight grin. "I know you have your O.W.L.s this year Ms. Bardot but you are at the top of my class and have been for years. I was wondering if you would be willing to tutor Mr. Black here. He needs a bit of help in my class especially with his O.W.L.s next year."

"Of course, professor I would love to help." I said with a small smile. The short man returned the smile and walked back to his desk to prepare for the next class that would surely be arriving soon.

"So, Ms. Bardot when should we meet?" The raven-haired boy turned to me with an eager smile stretched across his face. He was standing in front of me rocking on his feet with his hands behind his back.

"How about Thursday? After dinner. Shouldn't interrupt any classes."

"Sounds lovely. I'll meet you Thursday, in the library, after dinner." He said with a nod. I smiled in return and swiftly made my way out of the room off to my next class.

"Holy shit" Marlene whispered dramatically. Lily, Marlene, and Alice were sitting in front of the common room fireplace. I had spent the evening explaining the day's events. All about how Flitwick wanted me to tutor library guy and how library guy had turned out to be Regulus Black. Of course, I would be stuck tutoring Sirius Blacks baby brother.

"I thought he was a crazy blood supremacist why is he reading muggle books?" Lily asked slightly concerned and confused. I shrugged my shoulders in response.

"I don't know but maybe he doesn't believe in all of that; after all Sirius doesn't." Alice said quietly as she continued to knit some oddly shaped item. I think it was supposed to be a sweater.

"Maybe not but do you see who he hangs out with? Avery and Mulciber are practically death eaters in waiting." Lily rolled her eyes obnoxiously as she responded to Alice.

"You say that, but your best friend also hangs out with them Lils." I shoot back defensively. "So, by that logic Snape must be some crazy blood supremacist as well." She quickly turns her head and shoots daggers at me for my comment. I mean Lily isn't wrong. Regulus Black does hang around a rough crowd but again so does Severus. I don't understand her point. If we believed everything everyone else has said then surely, she wouldn't be friends with Severus anymore either.

"Severus is not a blood supremacist. I know him plus Sirius has said that Regulus is his parents' pet." Lily spat out aggressively.

"We don't know him therefore we shouldn't judge him Lils. You say that all the time. Plus, that's Sirius' side of the story we don't even know his brother's side." Marlene quickly tried to diffuse the tension in the room defending both sides. I had never seen Lily so quick to pass judgment on anyone besides the Marauders before.

"Whatever I'm going to bed. Goodnight Marlene, Alice." The redhead said before dashing up the dormitory stairs slamming the door behind her. Marlene and Alice were both sitting in shock at the turn of the conversation and Lily's anger. Lily was always a nice girl, but she had a bit of a temper and she never apologized first, which meant either we were never going to be friends again or I was going to have to take the blame and apologize. If there was one thing that certainly wasn't going to happen it was me apologizing first.
