I woke earlier than usual and quickly got ready and prepared my bag for classes. I said my goodbyes to duchess and swiftly made my way to the great hall for a quick breakfast and to pick up my Schedule from McGonagall before heading to the library to pick out a book.

As I looked through the novels looking for something interesting to read, I felt myself collied into another person. Strong hands gripped my shoulders as I attempted to steady myself.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention." A slightly deep voice said, and I quickly looked up with an amused smile.

"It's fine, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention either." I said with a breathy laugh as I looked at the boy in front of me. He had curly black hair that looked like it had grown out a bit. His face was sharp, and his eyes seemed to look like a shimmering silver color. He was tall and a bit skinny, but he looked extremely nice with his pressed robes, his beautiful eyes, and his slightly apologetic smile as he continued to talk.

"Well again I really am sorry." He looked down at a book in his hands. I peered down to see what he had chose to read.

"Sense and Sensibility? It's a good book, one of my favorites actually." I smiled as I looked back up at the tall boy who looked at me surprised.

"You read Jane Austen?"

"Actually, that's the only one I've ever read by her, but out of all the books I've read in general that one is my favorite."

"You should read Pride and Prejudice it's also by Jane Austen. I haven't read this yet" he says as he raised the book in his hand gesturing to it. "But as of right now that one is my favorite." He smiles.

"Okay I'll have to find it and read it."

"Definitely, you'll have to tell me what you think. I am certain it will become your favorite."

"We'll see about that." I roll my eyes smiling as I go to walk past him. He moves hastily to catch up as I scan the shelves looking for his recommended book. Once I finally find it, I make my way to check out the book.

"Merlin, I'm gonna be late! I have to go" I quickly put the book into my bag and run to leave the library.

"I NEVER GOT YOUR NAME!" he yells as I dash down the hall.

"NEVER GAVE IT TO YOU!" I say with a smile as I turn down the hall and into the defense classroom barely making it before the bell.

"Wait let me get this straight, you were in the library looking for a book, ran into some handsome stranger, you talked, laughed, were late to Defense and YOU DIDN'T EVEN GET HIS NAME?!?!" Marlene said her voice growing louder and more disbelieving with every word as we sat at the Gryffindor table for dinner.

"Yes, okay keep it down will you!" I exclaim waving my hands around looking around the room to see if anyone was listening. "He also recommended this book called Pride and Prejudice, says it'll become my new favorite." I roll my eyes as Lily's head shoots up.

"Pride and Prejudice?! I love that book, Merlin this mystery man is perfect." She smiles as she looks at the book, I had placed on the table next to me. "If I ever met a handsome man that recommended Jane Austen, I'd marry him." The words left the redheads lips as she stared dreamily across the table imagining her own love story scenarios.

"Too bad you're marrying Potter. I don't even think he knows where the library is." Marlene giggled as she looked down the table to find James Potter staring lovingly at the redhead.

"I will NEVER marry that arrogant toe-rag Potter." Lily stated firmly returning to her meal with a scowl.

"Whatever you say. Anyway, what are we going to do about library boy?" the blonde quickly turned to me excitedly.

"I don't know. I've never seen him before though so he's not in our year."

"Oooo okay so not in our year, definitely not in our house, and we have no name this is going to be so easy." She says sarcastically and I roll my eyes in return as we finish our meals.
