~FELIX'S POV~
When the news hit, everyone was sent into an uproar. Getting to the scene as fast as we could. Jeongin was shaking horribly and in tears, Chris and Seungmin were comforting him to the best of his ability. Jisung having to hold back Changbin from bursting into the building that was just charred and just left as embers.
Sunoo was anxious, waiting for one of the firemen to come out with Hyunjin's body but none ever did.
We waited. And waited. And waited.
When they returned from the empty handed, I could hear everyone's heart stop as they headed straight for Jeongin.
"I'm afraid there's no one in there kid. Your friend had to have gotten out some other way somehow." The man said with hand on the boy's shoulder.
Jeongin didn't say a word. Just looked at me and Sunoo and we could hear every single thought running through his head. Hyunjin was in there. He was trapped in there, there's no doubt in any of our heads at this point that he...
"He'd be going home. Wouldn't he?" I turned to Sunoo who just nodded once.
"We'll head back, Chris and Seungmin can stay here with Jeongin if they please since he still needs to be checked out."
"I'll stay too." Jisung said. "This is a thing for... your kind to deal with. Not mine." He said as he stood next to Seungmin. Seungmin relaxed a little more under the close proximity of his alpha.
I looked at Chris and he just waved me off. "Go, we've got Jeongin. He's your brother Felix." He hugged me tight and kissed my cheek before pushing me off. "Go."
I took a few steps back before completely turning around and joining the rest to the race back home. Keeping my eyes out in case he hadn't made it.
With the sun out, it would be weakening to him. He'd be slower, in more pain, but considering his transition isn't complete it wouldn't be deadly.
Everyone was franctic, especially Changbin. He was going as faster as his supernatural body would let him. Upon bursting through the little fence, we could see the door. It was open.
No. Not open. Completely torn off. We all stopped upon seeing it up close, the door was practically mangled. As if someone was trying desperately to get in. Smashing and clashing noises were coming from inside, Changbin went to jump in but Sunoo caught ahold of him.
"You need to be careful. There's not telling what his state is right now. Even if he remembers you he could be hostile." Sunoo whispered as low as he could before letting go of him. And we all followed, right after him.
Everything was a mess, torn apart as if the place was intruded and they were searching for something. The desks were flipped, everything was a complete disaster. Except this intruder was Hyunjin... and he was starving. However nothing was going to satisfy him until Changbin gets to him.
