"Alright little lady, you ready for this?" Uzui asked her and she nodded.

"What are you going to do?" Giyu asked worriedly.

"I am actually taking a note from your old Master Tomioka, I am going to leave her at the top of the mountain and see how long it takes her to get down without a scratch," Uzui said proudly.

"Don't you think that's a bit dangerous for her?" Kyojuro asked as he knit his brows together.

"Demons are dangerous. If we want her to be a good demon slayer and not have to worry about her every time she goes on a mission, we have to be tough on her. Right now, she's a soft baby, but we need her to be a warrior," Uzui said with a serious face.

"He does have a point," Kyojuro sighed, "best of luck Yuki! We will be seeing you!" He boasted with a thumbs up, trying to encourage her even though on the inside, he wanted her to stay home and safe.

Uzui held his hand out for her and she took it with a smile as she waved bye to the others. Her an Uzui walked out the door and hiked up to the top of the mountain. Uzui had set traps up all over the place, careful not to trigger any as they hiked. Once they reached the top, Uzui stopped to look down at her, "this is far enough. As badly as I want to go easy on you, I know it won't do you any good and you can get hurt or worse. So, I hope you don't hate me for what I'm about to do. Once I leave your sight, I want you to go back home down the mountain. The moment you can come home without a scratch, then we will move on to the next step."

She nodded and stood on her tiptoes, placing her small hand on his face as she smiled at him, "understand...no hate...will do best!"

He smiled for a moment before huffing, "I better walk away before you make this any harder. Soft little baby..." Uzui patted her head and she watched as he went down the mountain and out of her sight. She looked around, taking in all of the sights, smells and sounds. She began to trek down the mountain. Her foot snagged on what looked like a string and she heard it before she saw it. She ducked backwards to avoid the giant log headed towards her but was scratched across the stomach by the bark as she flipped backwards and away from the trap. She looked down at her stomach, scratched and bleeding, luckily not deep enough to seriously injure her but enough to hurt.

"SON OF A WHORE!!!" she yelled as she held herself. After the pain subsided she shook her head, "so this is just like how Tanjiro's training went huh....."

Using the knowledge she had from watching the show, she was able to trek down the mountain in a a couple of hours. She walked incredibly slow and maintained shallow breathing so she could hear even the tiniest twig snap. She was able to stop herself from falling or being hit by a lot of Uzui's traps. By the time she was close enough to the house, she had only the three slashes across her stomach from her first incident and a sprained ankle from twisting away to avoid a trap. She came out a lot cleaner and easier than Tanjiro did so she was happy with the result. When the back of the house came into view, she saw all of the men sitting on the engawa talking. She huffed and walked in front of them.
