Y/N POV:
It has been two weeks since I had the ultrasound, so it makes me about seven weeks. Nothing important really has happened. The team has been cautious and been training thoroughly. Thor went to look at the areas were the energy was located. Loki went with him a few times. 
"Hey everyone." I greeted as I entered the lounge area. 
"Hi Y/N." Peter said to me. 
"Hey Peter. Do you know what we are doing today?" I asked. It was still morning, not everyone was done breakfast, but I was curious. 
"Same old same old. Thor is coming back today, so we can get more info about the energy stuff." He told me. 
"Ok, so a pretty chill day. That will be nice, unless we do boot camp training again." I groaned. For the past week Cap has made courses and challenges for us to do. He was pushing us until we basically would break. 
"Oh yea. I think it won't be as intense as yesterday, but who knows." Peter responded. 
I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Loki. He's been gone with Thor since Thursday. 
I tackled him into a hug. I wanted to squeeze the life out of him, but I didn't have the strength. 
"How are you, Darling?" Loki asked. 
"I'm doing good. Exhausted and sore, but I'm ok." I told him. "How did everything go? Did you find something?" 
Loki's face darkened. "I'll tell you everything once everyone is here." 
"Is it that bad?" I asked concerned. 
He smiled. "Don't worry about it right now." 
So I didn't worry about it until we had our meeting. At least I tried not to think about it. 
"Alright give us what you got." My dad said to Thor once everyone of the team arrived. 
"This energy source is almost the exact same from New York. The coordinates may play apart in this as well. New York is the Statue of Liberty, Washington D.C. is the Washington Monument, Paris is the Eiffel Tower, and Berlin is the Brandenburg Gate. All significant places and landmarks around the world. While we were in New York City parts of the sky were splitting open. I'm surprised we haven't gotten a call from the Secretary of Defense." Thor was cut off by an incoming call. 
"Speaking of the Secretary of Defense. Here he is now." Nat said. 
The Secretary popped in the screen in front of us in the board room. "Hello Avengers. We have a problem in New York City specifically Manhattan. The sky is splitting above the Statue of Liberty. We have just gotten word that something has flown out of it. I don't think I need to explain the mission to you at all. We will have the NYPD and parts of our military helping evacuate citizens and helping you any way possible. Good luck." The call ended. 
"Alright everyone suit up. Let's go." Cap said to everyone. 
Everyone got dressed in our suits and headed to the armory to get weapons. We were all ready to go in less than five minutes. 
"Y/N your father is looking for you." Vision told me. 
I thanked him and headed to my dad. 
"You needed me?" 
"Yes, I need you to stay here and look after the compound."  He told me. I knew he didn't want me to look over the compound, he just wanted me to stay safe and out of the fight. 
"No. Dad I'm going. I can't just stay around here." I protested. 
He looked at me with steel eyes. "This is not up for negotiation Y/N. You are staying here, and that's final."
