"It has been nearly three weeks since an unprecedented mass amnesia plagued most of the world's population as many try to piece together the pieces of how they got where they were when they regain their memories. Many world leaders, including the Justice League, are puzzled by how many people were subjugated the same thing on such a global level. As many return to normal life, it still leaves the lingering questions of who or what was responsible for this phenomenon, and what may lay in store for the people of Earth. Now, after a brief commercial break, we will turn to the weather for this weekend's Fall Festivals and Kansas State Fair. Then, a recap of this week's high school and college sports." The news anchor said before commercials started.
Kara and Lois looked towards Jonathan and Martha before Kara cautiously asked, "Do y'all really not remember what happened three weeks ago?"
Jonathan shook his head. "No. It all seems like it was all some kind of dream. We were here, and then woke up near the Crows stadium. We couldn't figure out how or why we were there." Jonathan was solemn as he replied.
"Even with y'all explaining what happened, it all seems so unreal that space starfishes took over our minds and controlled our bodies to do the bidding of some intergalactic collector." Martha frowned as she said.
"True. It also begs the question when this Brainiac will try again to capture Kara for his private collection to preserve the last remaining Kryptonian." Lois was somber as she said.
Kara tried to lighten the mood as she said, "Relax. We have repelled his attempts every time so far. Whenever he tries again, we will kick his space butt back to whatever star system he came from."
Lois was enthused as she said. "Yeah, you and the Super girls Squad stopped his plans once, and you'll do it no matter how many times to send him packing."
Martha slightly smiled, "Sometimes, I envy the enthusiasm of youth." Martha lightheartedly said.
"Speaking of the enthusiasm of youth. Will y'all be going to the Fall Festival and Kansas State Fair this weekend?" Jonathan was curious as he said.
Kara and Lois looked at each other before Kara replied, "We were planning on it. Do you and Ma wanna go with us?"
Martha shook her head, "We'd love to, but we still have a lot to catch up on around the farm." Martha paused before she continued. "How y'all ask your friends if they'd like to go with y'all." Martha was supportive as she replied.
Lois frowned before she said. "We'd ask Chloe, but she still obsessed with uncovering the truth of the mass amnesia thing."
Kara nodded before she said, "True. It has been a lot to deal with. But I am sure that Jessica and Trinity would join us. Maybe even Barbara if we asked."
Lois huffed before she got up, "Great. Let's invite all of them while we're at it."
Kara was surprised as she asked, "Is something bothering you?"
Lois looked annoyed as she replied, "No, nothing at all." Lois sighed before she continued. "I.... I just need to take a walk by myself to clear my mind. That is all."
They were surprised when Lois quickly walked out of the living and out the front door without saying another word. They heard the front door and screen door slam shut. After a few minutes, Kara started to get up to find out if Lois was okay. Jonathan volunteered to go after her and talk to her. Kara nodded her head before she slowly sat back down. Jonathan walked out of the living room and out the front door. After a few minutes of walking, he saw Lois leaning against a fence as she watched the horses walked around and grazed. Jonathan quietly walked towards Lois and stood beside her and watched the horses with her. After them standing there in silence for a few minutes, Jonathan glanced towards Lois.
