Slash's pov:
"what are you doing?"My mom scowled slapping the back off my head is I flinched.
"what?"I said confused.
"putting a damn ring on that girls finger?"She said as I brushed it off.
"I don't know what you're talking about."I said shaking my head.
"I knew it as soon as I shook her hand and felt it,I looked down at the huge diamond ring with your damn name tattooed underneath it."my mom muttered. "And don't think I'm a damn fool and don't recognise her."She continued grabbing my arm as my rolled up sleeves revealed the silhouette of Ana on my lower arm.
"I don't know what your problem is"I said rolling my eyes.
"you're making commitments you can't make.Proposing to a girl your not even allowed to date publicly?Who else knows about this."My mom said as I blushed nervously scratching the back of my head.
"Steven..Erin maybe Pam,Izzy's girlfriend I don't know."I shrugged.
"fool!You're a damn fool!"She scolded me. "Look at that boy"she said pointing at Axl. "He's been you're best friend for years,he lived in our house for years,you owe it to that boy who is now a man because he found himself a girlfriend and married her,you owe it to that man to help him.Im probably the closest thing he has to a real mother here,he doesn't have a lot but this band,this is his everything and you are putting his everything at risk!"my mom continued angrily.
"Isn't it about me?Not Axl?Dont you want me too be happy?"I said almost offended.
"of course I do,but you will never truly be happy by secretly dating her or eloping.You either need to come forward and own up and if that destroys the band my god she better be worth it,or you break it off and don't say anything about it,speak now all forever hold your peace."She said mocking the wedding ceremony.
"mom you don't understand."I tried to reason with her but she's stubborn.
"I completely understand,I was young too once,sort it out,music and your career and your friends or that girl?Because I highly doubt you can have both."She muttered.
"fine I'll tell Duff."I lied. "Now lower your voice and don't mistreat or blame Anastasia for simply loving me."I sighed.
"I don't blame her at all,this is all on you,just like your father."She scoffed as I thought my mom was beginning to sound like the McKagan parents until she snapped back to her usual temperamental self when she saw Steven's mom Deanna,and brushed her in for a hug.

Anastasia's pov:
"you speak to Ola?"Axl said as I began helping Erin out with her dress that had dragged all along the ground and tore.
"yeah..I get the feeling she doesn't like me."I sighed as I stood back up on my feet almost toppling over in my heels as Axl grabbed me.
"you okay?"He muttered being sincere for once,but I figured it was because I was standing between him and Erin. "Olas amazing she's like the mother I never had."Axl smiled.
"that's so cute!You have to introduce me"Erin said as she looked over at Ola who was clearly scolding Slash as I just sighed. "God they look so alike."Erin murmured.
"let's go mrs rose."Axl cooed as he stood his arm out as Erin linked him. "Don't worry about it,I'll put in a good word for you."Axl whispered turning back as Erin agreed as they walked over to Slash,his mom and now Steven's mom,which reminded me of Steven who I hadn't seen I a while as I set out to look for him.
"Anastasia!lPam said running over with excitement. "Izzy asked me out on another date,I think tonight is the night."Pam winked.
"you think he's gonna ask you?"I said smiling.
"I hope so!"Pam said happily squeezing my hands as Izzy walked over.
"Pam,let's head inside before the rain comes."Izzy said as he took her hand.
"rain?Oh god no!"Pam panicked as we all looked up at the dark cloud looming over what was once a nice sunny day on a November afternoon which was soon turning cold and wet.
"Steven?"I called out as Pam and Izzy wandered off as I caught him in the kitchen inside at the back of the church doing a line as his nostrils flared as he turned around and smiled."You know how wrong it is that you're doing coke in a church?...your moms out there"I said as Steven's eyes went wide.
"Sh*t!Does she know I'm here?"Steven said.
"I don't think so,but she's probably looking for you"I shrugged as Steven kissed my cheek.
"thanks Ana!"He said quickly rushing a way,leaving me alone as I just sat on the kitchen floor.It was sad really,I heard the thunder and the rain arrive in time as I glanced outside at everyone running around and hiding under tables,Slash shielded his mom and guided Erin and Axl inside,I just hoped somebody would come in the kitchen..I was expecting anyone but Duff to appear in the door as it swung open.
"hey.."He said as he came and sat next to me.
"hi."I said bluntly resting my head on my knees as Duff stretched his legs out,I didn't know the presence of my big brother would be so comforting but it was as we just sat there in silence,it was nice silence though.
"Are you dating Slash?"Duff said bluntly as I barely reacted. "because if you are,tell me now"He said catching me off guard as I just shrugged.
"how many times do I have to tell you?We're not."I assured him.
"are you sure?"Duff said.
"sure."I nodded before a long pause. "Are you getting a divorce?"I asked.
"Im trying to get it finalised but Mandy is still b*tching about it,im pretty sure she moved onto someone from La guns or something."Duff sighed.This conversation was awkward to say the least but it made me realise how much I missed my brother,we hadn't spoke like this in months which had changed drastically considering we used to talk like this everyday even when he didn't even live in the same state as me he'd always call.I actually missed Duff.
