"Taeyeon.. are you coming with me?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon gave her a questioning look. Not having any idea of what Yoona meant. 
"My brother's going to pick me up from his work today. I don't think I can join you" Taeyeon said while looking at her wristwatch and Yoona just sighed. 
"He's coming after two hours right? Maybe you can ask him to just drop by and pick ypu up at the hospital" Yoona said and Taeyeon gave Yoona a confused look. 
"Hospital? Why? Who's there?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona held both of her shoulders before looking straight into Taeyeon's eyes. 
"Promise you won't freak out?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon slowly nodded even if she's not sure herself. 
"Baekhyun'Kim Taeyeon, i said are you alright?" s there. Kai took him there early in the morning.." Yoona calmly said while Taeyeon froze on her place. Everything is still trying to sink in her mind. 
She's too suprised. 
Baekhyun was just with her yesterday. 
"Taeyeon.. Taeyeon are you alright?" Yoona asked her friend but the latter just stood there not even blinking. 
"Kim Taeyeon!" Yoona snapped making Taeyeon go back to reality. Taeyeon just gave her a worried look and Yoona knew what that look meant. 
"Don't worry, it's not that serious. So are you going with me?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon nodded her head abruptly before dragging Yoona out of the school.
She's worried about him yesterday and she's more worried now. She's thinking why Baekhyun was hospitalized, now she's thinking if it's her fault.  
"Hey.." Kai called as soon as he saw his girlfriend walk out of the school gates with Taeyeon following her behind. Kai just gave Taeyeon a reassuring look telling her that it's not something serious. 
"Hey.. I took Taeyeon with me" Yoona said as she gave Kai a quick hug. "It's alright.." Kai said but deep inside him, he's worried. 
Looking at Taeyeon made him worry about Baekhyun. He saw how his friend suffered just by liking her. 
"Maybe we can go now? Taeyeon's brother will pick her up later so maybe we shouldn't waste time" Yooba said and Kai nodded before taking his girlfriend's hand. 
On the other hand.. 
Baekhyun was silently staring outside the window as he suddenly felt a tear rolled down his cheek. He wiped it away instantly as he sighed thinking how hard everything is for him. 
Is he really a mistake? 
Does his father really hate him that it got to the point where he got beaten up inside out? 
Don't he deserve a good life? 
Don't he deserve Taeyeon?
He hated how he end up this way. He felt weak and he hates himself for not being able to do anything, he hated himself for being such a big coward. 
Now how can he be able to win her heart? When in his first try  he already failed? 
The creaking sound of the door broke his chain of thoughts. Baekhyun glanced at the door and saw Kai entering. His heart seemed to stopped when his eyes met a pair of beautiful brown orbs. 
He just kept silent. All of what had happend the day before came back flashing on him and he can't do anything but to feel hurt again. 
"Hey.. how are you feeling now?" Kai asked and Baekhyun gave his friend a small smile before giving him a thumbs up. Yoona took a seat on the couch just beside Baekhyun's bed and Taeyeon followed her with her eyes still on him. 
"Does your body still hurt?" Kai asked and Baekhyun shook his head. "No.. it's getting better" Baekhyun said and Kai nodded before beaming a smile and turning to Yoona. 
"Let's go buy some food?" Kai asked and Yoona nodded and again, they left Baekhyun and Taeyeon in awkward silence. 
"So.. how are you?" Taeyeon asked trying her best to start a conversation with him. She doesn't know why but she felt awkward around him. 
"I'm fine.. what about you?" Baekhyun asked with a cheerful voice. He doesn't know why but only seeing her there made all his pain, even a little, disappear. 
"I'm worried.. what happened?" Taeyeon asked before standing up and taking the chair that was beside Baekhyun's bed. 
"Eyy don't worry. I'm stronger than superman" Baekhyun said trying to light up the mood and they both chuckled. Taeyeon just stared at his face full of bruises, it made her worry about him more. 
"What really happened? For all I know you just had a scrape and now look at your face.." Taeyeon said oblivious to the fact that her worries started to come out. 
"It's my.. it's my dad. He gave me some beatings for being such a disgrace" Baekhyun said adamantly and Taeyeon sighed before taking his hand. Baekhyun just turns his gaze to her again and their eyes met. 
"I know I'm in no place to tell you this but I don't think you are and I don't think you deserve this.." Taeyeon said with her soft voice and Baekhyun smiled weakly before taking Taeyeon's hand. 
"It's okay. I'm already used to this.." Baekhyun said and Taeyeon stood up from the chair and gave him a hug. A hug that tortured his poor heart. 
"Be well alright? I don't want to see you be here" Taeyeon said as she broke the hug and Baekhyun slowly nodded. How he wish that Taeyeon was his and that he won't be hurt anymore. 
"Alright ma'am.. I will" Baekhyun said as he gave her a salute and Taeyeon just chuckled. "Remember your promise?" Baekhyun asked out of nowhere and Taeyeon gave him a questioning look. 
"My--oh..  I remember" Taeyeon said and she smiled. "So? Can you sing for me now?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon scratches her nape before giving Baekhyun an awkward smile.
"If you're not ready then show me your drawing.." Baekhyun said and pointed at the sketchpad that was on the couch. Taeyeon followed where Baekhyun was pointing and she chuckled. 
"Alright.. I'll just show you my drawings.." Taeyeon said then she gave Baekhyun her sketchpad. Baekhyun opened it and a smile instantly showed on his face. 
Taeyeon just watched him. 
"Your drawings are.. great" Baekhyun said before closing the sketchpad and Taeyeon just smiled shyly. "Stop kidding me.." Taeyeon said and Baekhyun chuckled. 
"I'm not.." Baekhyun defended and Taeyeon playfully glared at him. 
"You are.." Taeyeon countered. 
"Am not.." Baekhyun answered back and they both bursted out laughing. 
Taeyeon's phone suddenly rang and they stopped laughing. Taeyeon turned to him again as soon as she's done reading the message. 
"My brother's looking for me.. is it okay if I leave now?" Taeyeon asked apolegetically and Baekhyun smiled reassuringly. 
"Yes.. take care alright. I'll see you" Baekhyun said and Taeyeon nodded before giving his hand a small squeeze. 
"Get well.." Taeyeon said and she walked out of the door. 
"I will--"
He sighed. 
"-- for you"
