Hus'Ak nodded his head as a weird dark feeling entered his body...was it grief? He wouldn't know at the moment but it was...
The Hive Guardian spoke his final words to the Memory of Korosek and Uul'Nath, "I will...and I'll...see you...one day...when I'm done...with my path" and that seemed to be enough for them...
Hus'Ak watched as Uul'Nath gave a small grin, and he was sure Korosek did the same before they evaporated into nothing. Leaving the Hive Guardian alone in the room with Hex to try to comfort him.
Hus'Ak watched in silence as his friends disappeared, ignoring the words coming from Hex as he thought to himself. Even despite knowing that they have died in order to bring destruction to the Last City, and plaguing his mind of doubts and guilt. It was nice to see them again...even after everything...
Flashback done.
_____"I see..." Crow said as he continued to pilot the ship, Hus'Ak nodded his head in agreement as an air of silence entered the spacecraft. However Crow would say something to the Hive Guardian, "What a journey we've been through...huh?"
Hus'Ak gave a sigh of exhaustion as he nodded his head in agreement. Eventually, Hus'Ak would feel himself getting slightly higher in his seat as Crow began to descend into Earth's atmosphere. Crow spoke loudly as Hus'Ak was greeted with a sight of an incoming storm, "Hopefully we don't get destroyed by the storm!"
Crow's word would immediately get both Hus'Ak's and Hex's attention. With speaking out her thoughts, "WHAT!"
The Hunter would chuckle as he flew his ship through the dense storm easily, "I'm joking, we'll be fine. Though I will want you to look ahead..."
"Look...ahead...?" Hus'Ak questioned before being nudged by his ghost. Turning his head, Hus'Ak watched as the clouds parted to reveal the Last City...
A grand city appeared in front of his eyes. Towering buildings and a gigantic wall showed the Hive Guardian the resilience of Humanity and how they survived. But that wasn't what Hus'Ak was focused on, rather it was the Traveler and its form that settled above the Last City as if watching over it.
Hus'Ak immediately turned to Hex, "This...is...the Last City?"
Hex would nod her shell as she spoke, "Yep...it's beautiful isn't it? Just ignore the gigantic craters in the ground..."
As Hus'Ak continued to look in awe at the city, a mysterious female voice popped up through the ships comms, "Crow is that you?"
Crow quickly responded, with Hex noticing how his mood seemed to get a bit brighter as he spoke, "Yeah it's me, Amanda. Though just to tell you, I'm dropping off a friend outside the Tower."
Hus'Ak and Hex listened in the conversation as Amanda's southern accent continued speaking in the comms, though the accent was confusing for the Hive Guardian to listen to, "We can't let you do that Crow. All guardians have to report to the Tower first when they come back from missions..." though after a while, a sigh was heard from the otherside, "Unless you got permission from Zavala and Ikora...which you likely do?"
Crow smiled as he answered Amanda's question, "Yep, secret stuff."
"Alright go ahead-" She would stop her transmission as Crow flew his ship into the Last City. Hex turned to see Crow, her mind already knowing thanks to the way Crow spoke to Amanda, "You have a crush on her, don't you?"
Crow immediately looked at Hex and denied her acquisition, "No! I-I don't. Just shush..."
"Mhm~" Hex said out loud before transmitting herself back to Hus'Ak's mind and speaking to her guardian, "He so definitely does."
