That same day, Raven was sitting on the couch, reading the book Dumbledore gave her about Dark Arts. The book talks about forbidden spells, ancient curses, and other old rituals. It also contains dark incantations and instructions for creating potions.

She found the Dark Arts to be very interesting. They tempted her to explore the depths of power and possibility. She learned that it's important to approach the Dark Arts with caution and a strong moral compass. Something she found intriguing. It's the balance between fascination and responsibility that made it such a captivating subject for her, and she couldn't wait to learn more about Dark Arts and Potion making.

Raven was indulged in this particular book, when she heard a firm knock on the door. Her parents came from the kitchen into the living room as she got up from the couch to open the front door.

"Good afternoon, Miss Gwyneth. I trust that Professor Dumbledore has informed you of my arrival already. May I come in?" The strange woman said firmly, but with a soft voice. Raven let the woman into their home, closing the door behind her.

"Allow me to make a proper introduction, Miss Gwyneth. I am Minerva McGonagall, the Transfiguration professor at the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Not only that, but I also have the honor of serving as the Head of Gryffindor house." The woman said as she walked into their home.

"Professor McGonagall, it's an honor to make your acquaintance." Raven said with a slight bow.

"Miss Gwyneth, if it's alright with you, we can head out right away since I'm on a tight schedule. I've planned a fun-filled day for us," Professor McGonagall said. "First, we'll visit 'Ollivanders' to find you a perfect wand. Then, we'll stop by 'Madam Malkin's' for robes and other clothing for the upcoming term. And of course 'Flourish and Blotts' for all your textbooks you'll need to catch up."

Raven nodded in acceptance and hugged her parents goodbye, before heading out with the professor.

"Miss Gwyneth, are you ready for an adventure?" Raven, accompanied by Professor McGonagall, arrived at Diagon Alley. The streets were filled with magic as they stepped into the world of wizards and witches. It was unlike anything she'd ever seen before in her life. What the hell...

Raven couldn't believe her eyes. Everything was like it came straight out of a storybook. Vibrant streets with shops selling all things magical. The atmosphere is filled with energy and excitement.

"This is truly extraordinary..." she said with eyes wide.

Professor Mcgonagall smiled at her reaction, as she continued walking through the busy streets which were already filled with a bunch of students, collecting their necessities for the upcoming term.

Their first stop was 'Ollivanders,' a quaint shop known for its selection of wands. As they entered, the shelves were lined with boxes of various shapes and sizes, each containing a unique wand waiting to choose its witch or wizard. Professor McGonagall guided Raven through the process, and after trying a few wands, a special one finally revealed itself. The wand's core, made of phoenix feather, seemed to resonate with Raven's magical aura.

"Ah, this wand is known for its loyalty and its ability to channel great courage." Mr. Ollivander spoke to Raven. His eyes suddenly darkened a bit, as if he's scared of something. "This wand... it has great energy, strong power... yes..." Ollivander took the wand from her hands and began studying it a bit more thoroughly. "You should be careful, or the things you could do.. the things you could achieve.. it could cause catastrophic consequences..", he said in a faint whisper, as if talking to himself. He studied the wand further for what felt like forever, before recovering from his trance and handig the wand back to the witch it belonged to now. "It has chosen you, my dear, for remarkable things. Embrace its magic and let it guide you on your new journey. But remember, be careful."

The shop is filled with the scent of ancient wood and the soft glow of candlelight. Ollivander's voice echoes through the room as he describes the unique qualities of the wand. The anticipation builds as Raven grips the chosen wand again, feeling a surge of energy course through her. This is amazing.

Next, they ventured into 'Madam Malkin's', a renowned clothing store in Diagon Alley. The shop was filled with robes of different colors and styles, each representing the unique personality of its wearer. Professor McGonagall helped Raven choose her Hogwarts robes, ensuring they were a perfect fit to make her feel confident and ready for her first term at the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

With robes in hand, they made their way to 'Flourish and Blotts'.The shelves were stacked high with books of every subject imaginable. Professor McGonagall carefully selected the required textbooks for Raven's classes, ensuring she had everything she needed for her studies.

As they strolled through Diagon Alley, Raven couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement. The shops, the scent of potions, and the laughter of fellow witches and wizards filled the air. Professor McGonagall shared stories of her own experiences at Hogwarts, making Raven even more eager to see what this school had to offer.

Throughout the day, they visited other places, such as 'Honey Dukes,' where Raven couldn't resist picking up a few treats to bring with her to Hogwarts.

As the day drew to a close, with all new supplies in hand, they returned to her residence. Raven's parents were already patiently waiting for her to return from her first trip into the world of magic. The warmth of their home embraced her as she stepped through the door. Her parents listened intently as she shared the details of her first trip to Diagon Alley, captivated by her every word.

Professor Mcgonagall stayed for ten more minutes, to chat about things Hogwarts related.

"I shall take my leave now." The professor said as she got up from the armchair. "Miss Gwyneth, for your information: next week, on Monday morning, you'll be escorted to our school by Professor Snape. He is our Potions master at Hogwarts and also Head of Slytherin house," the woman stated. "Our upcoming school year will start that day, but you'll be assigned to a teacher first to determine your magical abilities. I assume Professor Dumbledore has already filled you in on this."

"I wish you the best of luck with your studies and we'll meet again soon enough. Farewell, Miss Gwyneth." She said in a soft voice, before letting herself out.

Raven Gwyneth is now cozied up in her bed for the evening, completely engrossed in books about spells and curses. With each page turned, her imagination runs wild as she envisions the possibilities of magic. The soft glow of her reading lamp casts a light ambiance. Raven feels a sense of excitement and curiosity, eagerly absorbing the knowledge.

"May I come in dear?" Her mother asked after she quietly knocked on her bedroom door.

Her mother took a seat at the end of her bedside, smiling at Raven softly. She took the book from her hands, stroking it slightly, turning the pages as she looked through it with a curious look on her face.

"Ah, my dear Raven," her mother said with a gentle smile. "I may not have magic in my blood, but I can feel the excitement radiating from you. As you start this new chapter, always remember that your love for learning and discovering new things is what truly matters. I may not understand all the spells and potions, but I understand the joy it brings you. And I'll be here, supporting you every step of the way." Her mother then said in a comfortable manner.

Raven's heart swelled with emotion as she looked at her mother, her eyes shimmering with gratitude. She took a deep breath, struggling to find the right words to express her feelings. "Mother," she finally whispered, her voice filled with love and appreciation. "I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for your acceptance and support. Thank you for being by my side. I love you more than words can say."

As Raven's mother rose from her seat, she gave her daughter a warm smile, her eyes filled with pride and love. "I'll leave you to your studies, darling," she said, her voice filled with gentle encouragement. "Remember, if you ever need someone to talk to or share your discoveries with, I'm just a step away. I'll be in the kitchen, preparing dinner. Feel free to join me whenever you're ready." With those heartfelt words, she quietly left her bedroom, leaving Raven alone with all her new books.
