"see you later y/n" one of your co workers said to you as you walked out the door, you waved them off. 
as soon as you stepped outside there were flashing cameras and people shouting various things at you. they were pushing and shoving eachother, all of this for a photo of you walking home. 
they're all crazy, following you everywhere just for a picture. you kept your head down and walked quickly to yours and taylor's apartment, which was only a few blocks away. 
you opened the door to the apartment and let out a breath you didn't know you were holding. just as you were taking your shoes off, you could smell taylor preparing dinner. then you heard her humming along to her song lover. 
"hey baby! how was work?" taylor asked when you walked through to the kitchen. "boring" you sighed "but now i'm with you" you continued, with a grin while walking towards her. 
"you're so cute" she giggled and wrapped her arms around you. you hugged her back but as she went to pull away you tightened your grip. "you wanna let go darling?" she laughed. 
her face quickly turned into a frown as she heard you sniffle "hey what's wrong?" she asked, concerned, while pushing you off her gently to see your face. 
when your eyes met you just started crying more. "my love what's the matter?" she said sweetly and pulled you back into her arms. "it's just so overwhelming tay, all the people following me" you said while sobbing into her chest. 
"awh i know baby, wait. did they touch you? are you hurt? they better stay away" taylor said, turning angry quickly at the thought of the paparazzi hurting you. 
"no, don't worry tay, i'm fine. they're just overwhelming" you replied. "okay good, let's cuddle" she said and took you over to the couch. 
she laid down on the couch and you laid on top of her. she pulled a blanket up to your shoulders and held you close. "i love you y/n" taylor whispered and kissed your temple. 
"i love you too tay" you replied and snuggled into her chest. you both ended up falling asleep on the couch together.
