Chapter 3

                                    

                                          
The first day of school flew by in a blur. Aj was very happy to see her friends again, But she knew in time it would all end. She got back into the delivery truck and headed to the middle school to pick up her youngest sister.
"How was school today sugar cube?" Applejack asked as Applebloom got into the truck.
"It was better than I thought it would be," Applebloom responded. "Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo are all in the same classes as me too!"
"That is good." said AJ. "You ready to go see Granny?"
"Yup!" Applebloom said.
The car ride to the nursing home was much more enjoyable than the one they took to school.  The 2 sisters spent time laughing and talking about their day. A couple minutes later, they finally got to their destination. As they walked through the double doors, the smell of hand sanitizer and old people greeted them. They walked to the front desk awaiting the help of an employee to find granny. A few muinutes later, they were walking to Granny's room with a tall woman Leading the way. 
"Hi big brother!" Applebloom said running to her brother to give him a hug.
"I didn't know yall were coming today!" Big Mac said with a smile.
"We figured we'd surprise you." AJ said also grinning.
Then AJ's head turned to Granny Smith. She was sleeping in her wheelchair. She looked old and very fragile in her wheelchair. Applejack could tell that her Grandmother was done.  She almost looked lie a candle about to give its last flame.
"How is she doing?" Asked Applejack quietly.
"She is still refusing to eat." Big Mac said with a sigh.
All of the sudden, Granny Smith eyes opened. Applebloom went up to see her and to give her a soft hug. When Applebloom approched her, the old women started screaming at the top of her voice. Applebloom stepped back startled.
"What's wrong with her?!" Applebloom asked with exasperation. 
What seemed like seconds later, docters and other care givers appeared and shuffled the three Apple siblings out of the room. 
"What the HELL is going on here!?" Applejack asked still in shock.
"I don't know!" Big Mac responded also startled. "She was fine all day and just now..." his voice trailed off.
"I think we'd better go." Applejack said tensly.
"I am still  Gonna stay" Big Mac said with another sigh. 
The Apple siblings all embraced and the two girls left the building. As soon as the siblings got home, Applebloom started sobbing.
"It was my fault wasn't it." Applebloom cried. 
"Oh sugarcube, of course it wasn't your fault." said Applejack also tearing up.
"Yes it was. If i didn't go up to her, maybe she wouldn't have..." her voice trailed off as she started to sob harder.
Suddenly, Applejack got another text from Big Mac.
" She was just tested and  Apparently granny has Alzheimer's. She forgot who Applebloom was and she thought that she was being attacked." 
Applejack's heart sank as she read on.
" The  Doctors say she has a year to live at most. if we're lucky. Love you and Applebloom."

Hi People!!!! Soooo it turns out that i was actually able to write and edit another chapter this week! Idk how this will effect my schedule, but I think i will just be posting whenever I can. I will probally be going on 2 chapters a week, but i will always leave updates. Thank yall again for reading!!!😊💗😄
