"H-how could he cheat on me!" Lainey questioned in between sobs, her head hanging out of the window. Demetri held Olivia's hair back, the group was on the side of the road. Demetri tried to get the girls home without any type of body fluid getting anywhere but leave it to Olivia to crush the boy's spirits. "Lainey! For the last time, you are drunk! he is drunk! Olivia is drunk! None of us no why he cheated! You need to relax before you make yourself throw up!" The male was stressed, there was puke in his backseat, Olivia's been at it for 15 minutes and a passed-out Miguel was also in the backseat. "But he did it because he doesn't love me!" Lainey continued to cry. "Lainey Rydel Andrews I swear, we will figure it out tomorrow but please try and sleep for right now!" Demetri shouted making the girl sit back in her seat and pout.
"Are you done yet!?" Demetri questioned as Olivia stood back up. "I fuck nerds when I'm drunk!" Olivia started to sob hunching back over. "I swear I will throw myself into ongoing traffic right now." Demetri sighed.

Demetri kissed the top of her head. "Please actually go to sleep" He whispered, wiping the tear that fell from Lainey's cheek as she smiled. "Why can't you stay?" Lainey whispered while Demetri threw a blanket over her. "Because pukey is in my normal sleepover spot" He nodded his head towards Olivia who was next to Lainey. "Shut up toothpick legs, this is my girl for the night" Olivia mumbled, cuddling up into Lainey's side. Lainey just giggled to herself, wrapping her arm around Liv. "I'll be back in the morning in time for the all-valley, I promise." Demetri said, grabbing his backpack then making his way out from her first-floor bedroom window, he quietly thanked Jesus that she picked the lowest floors bedroom so he wouldn't be jumping from the second story of the house.
Once the window closed and Demetri had walked off, the room was quiet. Just the two girls laying in each other's arms. Lainey couldn't shut her brain off. Everything that had happened almost left her speechless. Not only did Eli cheat on her, but he also cheated on her with his sister's girlfriend thing. Olivia didn't care as much as Lainey did though, It was always easy for Olivia to move on there was never any love in all of her relationships, her attachment issues is the only thing that keeps her within all of her relationships. But with Lainey, that was never the case with her. Hell, Before Eli, Lainey has never been in a serious relationship before.
Unless you count her dating Demetri in middle school for an hour because Olivia dared them to. Stupidest dare in the world, Lainey thought. The thought of dating Demetri made her giggle. It happened once for a dare; it was nothing more than a dare to her. But they never talked about it. Lainey is big on communication, everyone knew that. But for some reason, Dem was the complete opposite. That's why she was truly glad it was nothing more than a dare.
"mmm- Lainey" Olivia mumbled in her sleep, pulling her from her thoughts. "Hm?" She whispered, looking down at the blonde. "Do you think Demetri is into me?" Liv questioned, half asleep. "Um.. I don't know- Why?" "No man's ever held my hair back before- and he's just so yummy-" "Yeahh.. You're still drunk. Go to sleep"

"I'll have her back after the all-valley! Thank you, Mr. Rydel" Demetri, said closing the front door, Lainey and Olivia already in the car. "Why do we have to go again?" Olivia whine, taking a sip of her water that Dem had brought with him. "We're going to support friends and your brother!" Lainey replied, popping a piece of gum into her mouth. "I don't want to see nerds punch each other-" "Is she complaining already!" Demetri asked, starting the car. "I'm not complaining I'm being honest" Olivia mocked him while she layed down in the backseat. "Well, your honesty sucks" "You suck" "No you do!" "I swear you two act like children.." Lainey whispered, looking out of the window as Demetri drove off.
Since Lainey was in the passenger seat, she got aux and of course they had to listen to Taylor Swift on the way. 'the 1' quietly played through the speakers of Demetri's car. All of the windows were down, It was such a vibe, Lainey thought. They never had days where sad Taylor blasted through the car and the wind was blowing in everyone's hair anymore. Well. More a less brushed, Demetri refused to go faster than 15 miles per hour.
Once they arrived at the All-Valley Lainey felt a twist in her stomach. 'Hawk' was standing in the parking lot, in front of the building along with all of the kids from Cobra kai. "Wake up shit brain we're here" Demetri said, smacking Olivia's arm. "Ow! Asshole!" The blonde whined, getting out of the car and stretching. "Miggyyy!" She dragged out her y's as she ran over to him. Lainey got out of the car, her sun dress flowing in the wind while she grabbed her purse. She felt like she was in a movie, one of those cheesy teen, coming of age love movies. For her, this part would be where the male finds out he's actually in love and tossing those feelings down inside of him wouldn't keep her out of his mind forever. "You ready to watch some karate?" Demetri asked with a slight chuckle as she nodded. He held out his arm for her to wrap hers around making her giggle.
Walking up to the group made her realize what part of the movie she was truly in. The part where the boy realizes he just lost one of the best things he could've possibly had. "Well hello you two" Aisha spoke up, Lainey waved. Eli looked at the pair, their arms locked as he rolled his eyes. "You guys ready to kick some major ass!?" Lainey asked, Bert nodded. "Lainey, can we talk?" Eli asked. "No! Sorry. I'm gonna go find us some seats." She smiled, unlocking her arms with Demetri and making her way inside.
