Me and Ellie walk out onto the court, Team Beth is up first, against The Capulets.

"They're going down like Romeo," Ellie smirks at me.

"Ellie?" I look at my best friend.

"Yeah?" she looks at me.

"Romeo was a Montague, Juliet was a Capulet," I pat her on the shoulder and keep walking as she stops in her steps.

"Shit, really?!" she chases after me to catch up.

"Are you sure you're graduating next year?" I tease.

She shoves me lightly, laughing, "bitch."

I laugh too then look at her more seriously, "you ready?"

"Hell yeah," she nods.

We're halfway into the game, winning by a lot, when something happens. The ball has just fallen to the ground as Team Capulets failed to reach it in time when Ellie, who was stood beside me, suddenly collapses.

I instinctively catch her in my arms as she goes limp, sorta like a trust fall, as she says, "I don't feel so good."

Her eyes are closed but I don't buy it at all after all the faking being sick I'vet seen her do over the years, especially not when she sees Conrad and Jeremiah stood near the gap in the fence and calls out,

"Concrete, sub in for me, I don't feel good."

The boys both walk over as Ellie whips her shirt off her head and shoves it into Conrad's chest, "good luck, Concrete."

He sighs at his new nickname but takes off his shirt and exchanges it for our dark green one anyway. I won't lie, I did stare at his chest. Jeremiah takes Conrad's shirt off his brother and throws it to the side whilst he's putting on the Team Beth shirt. He then winks at me as he picks Ellie up in a bridal hold and walks away with her to sit her down and get her a drink. Even though she's not actually feeling unwell in the slightest, she happily accepts the princess treatment with only little teasing complaints.

"Where do you want me, B?" Conrad asks as he pushes his hair out of his eyes.

Close to me. I mean, "you start up."

"Let's win this," he says as we do Peter and Ned's handshake from Spiderman: Homecoming.

The game starts again, we easily win.

Our next game, we're against Team Shayla who is made of Shayla and Steven.

"No hard feelings when we win?" I say to Steven before we start.

"Back at you," he points at me.

They lose. In your stinky face Steven, I might've said that last bit out loud.
