Chapter 2

                                    

                                          
After The two Apple siblings finished eating, It was time to go to school.
"Scoot your boot Applebloom!" Applejack Called as Applebloom ran down the stairs. 
"Coming!" She called back.
As  they got into the old beat up delivery truck, Applejack suddenly got an urgent text from Big Mac.
Granny is not doing very well. She is refusing to eat, drink and to take her meds. She can't talk when she is distressed, and when the docters try to help her, she makes everything difficult. I think she just wants to be out of her misery, but honestly I don't know. I will be staying here tonight just  to monitor her. I will see yall tomorrow.
With a sigh, Applejack put down her phone and started up the truck.
"After School can we go to the nursing home to see Big Mac and Granny?" Applebloom asked.
"Yes i think thats a good idea." Applejack replied.
She herself did not know if this would be the last night she would ever see her Grandmother.
"She is getting worse Sugarcube." Applejack said with a quivering voice.
Applebloom remained silent but Applejack could tell that her sister was worried. The rest of the car ride was completely silent. After Applejack dropped her sister off at the small local middle school, she started to drive to the High school. After another silent 5 muinutes, she finally got there.
"AJ!" a familiar voice called.
It was Pinkie and the rest of AJ's friends coming to greet her. In the front of the pack was Rainbowdash.  Her hair was at the angle where the sun hit the rainbow hair perfect. Applejack started to blush as red as one of her apples. She will admit that she was interested in rainbow since softmore year. She was sporty, popular, loyal, and one of her best friends. She was also very pretty. But the main problem was that she did not know if rainbow was into other women. She also did not want their relationship to be awkward if they broke up. She thought it would be best if they just remained friends and tried to suppress her crush for years. This did not stop her for frequently daydreaming or blushing when ever rainbow talked to her.
"Hey yall!" Applejack Called with a small grin.
All the friends hugged and laughed.
"It is soooo good to see you!" Pinkie said with an exided voice.
"Yea how was all you guy's summers?" Rainbow asked intrigued.
Applejack had to think about this answer. To be honest, her summer was the opposite of good. Sure she turned 18, but Granny Smith also had a heart attack that will probally leave the Apple siblings alone forever, the family was almost bankrupt, and Applejack had all the weight of the business apon her shoulders. 
"My summer was fine." Applejack replied to Rainbow in a falsely happy voice.
"My summer was fine as well" said Rarity as they started to walk twards the school.
