Chapter 21

                                    

                                          
It's now been three and a half weeks since last incident. Alhaitham only left the house for liquor runs or snack runs, he stopped going to the gym because of Auell. And kaveh was as happy as he could be, when people are around at least. When its just him he cry's, thinking about everything that happened in the past, blaming himself for everything thats has gone wrong. 
A black void surrounded Alhaitham, but there was a small light in front of him, it was far away but that wasn't the only thing. Kaveh stood in front of the light. 
Alhaitham went to call out kaveh's name but nothing came out, Kaveh spoke something and went to walk into the light, but nothing was heard. Alhaitham started to run after kaveh when some wrapped around his neck, then legs and arms until his whole body was consumed by heavy black fog. 
He was being squeezed by the fog, each time he would try to break free to run after kaveh, the grip got tighter, eventually choking alhaitham. Then suddenly a loud ringing went off.
Alhaitham snapped his eyes open, raising up in a flash, he was now awake with his hands gripping around his neck. The ringing was still going off though, he looked over and saw it was Tighnari calling him. Alhaitham answered and was met with a worried fox. 
"I got a movement notification and checked the cameras to see you choking yourself!" He whispered yelled.
Alhaitham sighed and felt his neck, it's definitely going to bruise. "Called just in time, I was about dead." He said with an almost disappointed chuckle.
"Don't say that- give me a second." Tighnari moved his phone away from his face "If you run mehrak up that tree once more, you're getting him down yourself!" He yelled, hoping alhaitham didn't hear. "Sorry, cyno was doing something immature."
"Once more?" Alhaitham asked.
Tighnari awkwardly laughed, not that he was trying to hide anything from alhaitham. "So you heart that? Don't worry, mehrak is fine. We're at the park and kaveh brought toys for mehrak." He responded. "I will let you go now, call if you need anything. Bye now." 
"Bye." Alhaitham said back and the call ended.
Alhaitham tossed his phone beside him on the bed and leaned back against the headboard with a groan. He rethought what tighnari said about being at the park and looked out the window that was slightly showing through the curtain. If kaveh was happy being gone then he would let him be happy. 
The memories of him and Kaveh walking mehrak to the park flooded his mind, then his tears also started to flood his eyes.
Mehrak flopped down on his side, cyno was trying to teach him to sit like a dog. He groaned in frustration but gave the cat a treat anyways.
Both Kaveh and Collei came back from the play ground to grab something to drink that they brought with them. Kaveh also got a portable bowl out for mehrak and gave him water also. This cat is spoiled and he knows it. Mehrak meowed, thanking him for the water. Cyno gasped and crossed his arms, offended that he knew how to thank his owner but wouldn't sit for him, at least. He is obedient with Alhaitham, but very spoiled at the same time. 
Collei tugged on the end of kaveh's shirt to get his attention, "Kaveh, can we play with water guns now?" She asked, jumping up and down with excitement.
Kaveh hummed and looked towards tighnari and cyno. "You have to ask them." He replied.
Collei then ran to cyno and tighnari to ask them. They agreed and stood up, Cyno grabbed the bag that had the water guns in and handed them out. 
The park was oddly big, a playground, a flat grassy area, which they currently sat in, and a pool. It was a nice park and it was free entrance too. But currently the pool is closed for swimming, but not filling up water guns.
