"W-what are you doing here?" Seokjin eventually manages to speak for the first time, the question solely directed at the man in the front of him.

"Oh my dear son" Minshik beams in delight, finally getting to see Seokjin after all those years. In all honesty he didn't have the faintest idea of how he'd expected Seokjin to look after growing up, considering how he'd abandoned him at the young age to six, but now seeing the boy face to face again made him suddenly realize he had indeed matured into a fine young man.

"I asked you a question" Seokjin says yet again, this time sounding much sterner compared to before.

"Seokjin you don't need to do this, can you please just go back to your room?" Jungkook tried rationing with him again, already feeling agitated and irritated at the close proximity between the boy and the man.

"And who might you be?" One of the police officers interrupted, pointing and staring up at Seokjin with concern.

"I am sir Seokjin and this is my home. So I think I should be the one asking you why on earth you're in my home without my permission and why the hell you brought this god forsaken demon in here with you"

Jungkook's jaw instantly drops open, literally the widest they've ever been in his entire life as he quickly looked to Jimin who had just as much as the same stunned look in his eyes and all over his face. Nothing in the world could have prepared any of them for the way Seokjin had spoken, absolutely nothing! This was indeed the very first of it's kind.

The police officer looked from a livid Seokjin to the man who had a blank expression on his face, and back to Seokjin. "I think there's been a misunderstanding somewhere, Mr Minshik here came by our station to file a report about the life threatening incident that occurred between him and this young man right here" the police officer began, pointing to Jungkook as he spoke "and we came down here to issue a warning to him, but as soon as we read out his charges, he lunged himself at the man, got on top of him and severely began punching him until he bled. Mr Minshik didn't mention you to us at all, we came here solely for Mr Jungkook who so happens to have added more riffs to his assault charges now"

Seokjin's strong demeanor immediately came faltering as he took in long shaky breaths to calm his racing heart while staring at his caregiver. "I'm so sorry" he whispers underneath his breath with the softest tone he could mutter.

"You have absolutely nothing to be sorry about, I'm totally fine. If anything, I'm more worried about you as you shouldn't even be down here"

Shaking his head in disapproval, Seokjin retorted against it saying, "I should, I probably should have been ages ago. It won't get any better for me if I don't stand up for myself Jungkook, Dr Valerie said I didn't deserve to live like this and although I don't like but I agree with her. So I have to do this"

"Do what?" Minshik asked, still holding the blood stained towel up to his bleeding nose.

Turning away from Jungkook, Seokjin returned his gaze to his estranged father, all the calm and meekness on his face long gone and now replaced with disgust. "Tell the world what sort of a monster you are, tell them just how cruel of a man you were to me and everyone who dared to love me"

"Seokjin, what are you talking about?" Minshik trivializes, trying desperately to feign ignorance in hopes of fooling everyone around him.

"How could you do such a thing to me? I begged you, I crawled on my knees with tears in my eyes pleading with you not to abandon me there. I screamed your name at the top of my tiny voice while you just casually strolled away from me like I was infested with some incurable disease"

As Seokjin spoke, Jungkook couldn't help but take notice of how his entire body shook with each word. His fingers that had previously been curled into fists were now spread wide open and desperately clawing at the hems of his trousers, seeking any form of support he could possibly find. He needed to keep himself together, he needed to keep his feet rooted in place in order to come off as strong and unintimidated. And although Seokjin managed to fool everyone around him, but Jungkook knew better, he knew the boy was only mere seconds away from passing out on the spot.

"What are you talking about?" The very much interested police officer eventually chips in, taking a note pad and a pen out from his chest pocket. "Can you please go into details?"

"There's nothing to go into details about" Minshik says as he walked even closer towards Seokjin.

Fear was clearly evident in the man's eyes, the pent up guilt and frustration within him lathered his entire demeanor like liquid soap. And it was very much expected considering how the same Seokjin he thought he'd successfully broken years ago, was somehow now garnering up enough courage to speak up for himself and possibly put him behind bars for the rest of his life as well.

"My dear son that was all in the past, you know I never meant any of it right? I really never meant to hurt you, It was all in the heat of the moment"

Seokjin couldn't believe his ears as he scoffed in utter disbelief. "All in the past you say? All in the past? How dare you! You call my life being snatched away from me against my will a thing that happened in the heat of the moment? You good for nothing son of the devil, how dare you?!"

At this point, Jungkook's jaw was merely inches away from scraping against the wooden floor in absolute shock. How on earth Seokjin was managing to stand up for himself in the face of danger, shook him to the very bane of his existence. It all felt strangely uncanny, something he never thought he'd get to witness in his lifetime.

Turning his back on the lot, Seokjin headed straight for the stairs, ignoring every call of his name along the way. He needed to get to his bedroom as quickly as possible in order to retrieve an eerie memory he'd once kept buried since he was fifteen, one he never thought he'd ever have to visit again because of all the pain it held.

Running back down the stairs, he quickly hands what one could call a jarring piece of evidence to one of the police officers. The said piece of evidence was a book in form of journal, the book seemed to be covered in dirt, dust and even a few tangled strings of cobwebs. Only God knew just how long he's had the book or for how long he'd kept it hidden and what sort of contents were contained within it's pages.

As soon as the officer blew on the top cover of the journal to reveal it's worn out green color, Jungkook's eyes instantly bulged wide open in surprise. That was the book, it was the exact same thick cover book Seokjin at aimed directly at his head the very first day they met.

"It's all in there, what this man did to me, what they all did to me in that place" Seokjin whimpers, pointing at Minshik with tears clouding his vision. "He's evil and should not be allowed to roam around freely without a leash. He's a wicked and cruel man and I don't think he even got beaten up enough to be very honest"

"Breath okay, I've got you" Jimin says reassuringly as rocked Seokjin back and forth in a tight hug, all the while seated at the foot of the stairs.

Seokjin sniffles a few times, his red face tucked against Jimin's neck. "What the hell have I done? I'm in so much trouble"

"Don't say that, you're not in any trouble Seokjin, what you've done tonight has left everyone of us speechless and completely stunned. You stood up for yourself, you fought for yourself and we couldn't be more proud of you right now, you're so brave" Jimin praised as he pulled away from the hug to cup Seokjin's face, where he proceeded to wipe off his tears.

"But I got Jungkook in trouble" He argued, fighting back the urge to burst into another wave of tears.

"No, no you didn't, it's only right that they had him go down to the station with them to put down a few statements and possibly also to file a restraining order against Minshik on your behalf. Jungkook is no way in any trouble, neither is he being arrested for punching Minshik, because come to think of it he sort of deserved it for showing up here after all he's done to you"

"What if he doesn't come back, Jimin? what if Jungkook doesn't come back?" Seokjin burst into tears, feeling his frail heart cave in at the unimaginable thought of his caregiver disappearing from his life without notice.
