Lauren's pov 
This afternoon I was having more time with my girls when all of a sudden I was hit with this excruciating pain and my wolf was crying out mate so I immediately knew what was happening. I left the girls all confused but I had no choice I had to get there and while yes the secrets out now and now I have to have a conversation I really don't want to. We walked into the house with gabe still dragging me behind him.
G- what the hell is wrong with you how could you do this 
L- he's not a bad guy 
G- he's still the enemy 
L- why like what has he honestly done to be an enemy 
G- well nothing but
L- but nothing you just proved my point he's not a bad guy 
G- you still shouldn't have mated with him 
L- I don't choose who I'm mated to gabe that's not how this works it's not like we both thought it would be a great idea to have our mate be from our feuding pack 
G- that may be true but you could've rejected him instead of going around acting like a slut 
Before thinking I slapped gabe across the face for the comment then we both yelled for dad 
Tim- what's going on 
G- she hit me 
L- he called me a slut 
G- well you had your mate mark you in private spots 
T- wait what mate
G- turns out your daughter found her mate and that guy happens to be alpha scotts son cole 
T- wow 
L- he's not a bad guy honestly dad and nothing has happened between me and him just kissing cuddles and naps and I wanted to be marked already cause I love him and since we were being secretive about everything I knew we had no choice but for the marks to be hidden but that doesn't make me a slut it doesn't it doesn't 
T- ok sweetie breathe and both of you apologize then we can move on

T- good now tell me what all happened like how did we get here 
G- we went to try and find cole again and we were successful this time but he wouldn't fight back because he didn't want to upset someone close to him by fighting us which obviously he meant her but I still fought him 
L- which I felt the pain of what he was doing so I went to find them and I put a stop to it all then told Cole to kick gabes ass because of having to feel the pain and having to hear how gabe was talking down to him just minutes before 
G- you heard that 
L- yeah I did 
T- ok well now do you plan on leaving them alone 
G- I don't know dad I mean you were on board with all this 
T- I was but this is her mate and future family here 
G- I know but Marcus doesn't deserve to get away with all this since he finished the job 
L- no he didn't the man scent I had the first time was coles because I snuck out to be with him the night before 
G- why didn't you tell me that 
L- why would I tell you it's coles scent when you weren't supposed to know anything at the time yet 
G- because if you did Zack probably would still be here cause we wouldn't have went over there 
L- don't put that on my hands you should learn not to assume 
T- enough now both of you to your rooms 
L- ok 
I ran up to my room and went on my phone and texted with Cole.
