Next Day ... Jungkook's house.
Last night was his first night alone in his home since the wedding. It felt lonely without Yoongi, but he figured it was time to stop wallowing in self-pity. 
While getting dressed, he found himself humming a verse of a song he's been working on. It was titled Stay Alive. It was about surviving a vicious world. 
He was indecisive about recording it, but Yoongi heard the first verse and encouraged him to have it released. He would be the producer, of course. 
"🎶Please, you stay alive, ohhhhhh
Please, you stay alive, ohhhhh
Please, you stay alive🎶"
*Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!*
The sound of his doorbell interrupted the concert in his head. 
"I'm coming!" 'Is Suga-hyung here to pick me up?'
Much to his delight, when he opened the door, he saw Taehyung instead. He didn't have a bouquet this time, just chocolate.
"Good morning, Jungkook. I hope you liked the chocolate last time. I brought some more for you. Sorry I couldn't get you any flowers, though."
Jungkook shuffled his feet shyly before taking it. 
"Th-Thank you ... I wasn't expecting you ..."
"Actually ..." Taehyung paused and thought about what he was going to say. He didn't want to appear as if he was making any moves on him, nor did he want to say anything that could serve as a reminder of what he went through last week. "Actually, I wanted to ask if you'd like to spend the day with me ... I'm organizing a couple's ... wedding and ... I was wondering if you wanted to come along."
Jungkook started to chew on his lips, and Taehyung knew the answer even before Jungkook regretfully declined the offer.
"I'd love to, but I can't."
'Of course you can't it was a stupid idea. Thanks for nothing, Jimin.'
"I'd love to go out with you sometime, though, maybe even tomorrow," he quickly added. "If that's what you want, of course."
Taehyung's heart leapt for joy. "I'd love that! How about tonight as well? No, um ... nevermind."
Jungkook still had some amount of healing to do, so Taehyung didn't want to get ahead of himself. He couldn't help himself, though. There was something about Jungkook that made him giddy with delight. 
Jungkook, on the other hand, wasn't quite sure what he wanted. Seo-Joon convinced him that his feelings for Taehyung were a fallacy, but his questionable credibility had Jungkook rethinking. 
"Are you asking me out tonight?"
Taehyung averted his eyes before he murmured a "Yes." 
"Okay."
"Is that a Yes?"
"Yes."
"Alright then! You can call m- call ... do you even have a cellphone?"
"Y-Yeah, N-Namjoon gave it back to me when I saw him yesterday." Jungkook's spirit shrivelled when he remembered how it all unfolded. Some encouraged him to file a lawsuit against Namjoon but he didn't have the drive. 
Taehyung apologized when he noticed Jungkook's change in demeanour, but he reassured Taehyung that he was alright.
"Don't worry about it. I'm slowly healing. I know that true love exists. I'll find it one day."
"If you haven't found it already."

"If you haven't found it already."
What did Taehyung mean by that? Jungkook almost regretted not asking him to clarify what he said. He's still in the process of piecing back his heart together, so he didn't want to risk anything.
