Sarada's POV
What's Happening? Why can't I open my eyes? Boruto? Mitsuki? Sensei? Where are they? Are they fine?
We'd finally gotten closer to catching the 'Red Thief'. Did they manage to do it? I can't remember what happened. We were chasing the guy, then he used a scroll that opened a portal, I followed him. My teammates were shouting my name and after that, I don't recall anything.
"Oww.. " I slowly opened my eyes to see myself in the middle of a forest. Where the hell am I? We were chasing him inside a village. How did I end up in this forest? Where are the others? Are they safe?
"Mitsuki.... Boruto...Sensei? Can you hear me?"
"Guys, where are you all?" I shouted. I stood up to go look for my team. But I was exhausted and my legs were hurting so much I needed to sit down for a while. I walked to the nearest river to wash off my face first. We'd been in action for some time and I was tired.
I needed to freshen up and sit down for a second. I got to the water, washed off my face, and got a little freshened up. I was sitting on the bank when, "Hey, guys I found a girl in here," someone shouted from behind me. I looked back to see a short guy with some weapon in his hand. How did I not notice anyone? I could hear some noises coming towards me. There was a group and they seemed to be bandits.
Oh god no, I couldn't deal with them right now. I had to flee. The short guy that found me was coming towards me to attack. I used a smoke bomb to run away. Those people were shouting at me and some started to follow me. They didn't seem to be ninjas but, they were a lot in number. There must be a village nearby or a cave where I can stay until I'm recharged.
I went further away and hoped to find something cause I couldn't keep up for long, I felt like I would pass out. There was something different in the air though and the surroundings felt so unfamiliar like I'm in a very different zone. I couldn't care about that right now. I was going further until I sensed something on my right.
There was a strong genjutsu cast in there. I walked towards the place. The place seemed abandoned and filled with bushes but I knew it was a genjutsu trap."Kai" I released the jutsu. It was a strong genjutsu, but thanks to my Sharingan and my Mom's training I could release it easily.
There was an abandoned house in front of me and there were lots of hidden traps fixed in different places. I was familiar with a lot of the traps set. My dad had taught me a fair amount of traps that can be set for an enemy. This place looked like a hideout.
I couldn't sense any chakra signatures inside."I think I'll just stay here, I can't go any further anyway," I entered the house and found a room I could stay in. I did my best to hide myself, and passed out the moment I closed my eyes.

"Hey, little girl."She might be an enemy, be on your guard."I could hear some voices. Shit! did I get caught?
I didn't try harder to hide. At least my chakra was recharged, I might not win but I could at least escape and find my teammates.
"Hey Wake up." A female voice shouted at me. I opened my eyes and was ready for a fight if needed but to my surprise, "Oh you guys..," I knew them.
They were my dad's old teammates, I even met them on a mission before. They were Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu. But they looked kinda different... and younger. I did feel a little relief until I turned my head and saw someone, my dad... but not really him. He was young and had two arms. Like in the photo.
What the hell?
To Be Continued...
Hello readers, I hope you enjoyed the prologue. I had this idea for a long time, and I wrote the Prologue few months ago. This has been in my drafts since. I finally edited the draft, and shared with you all. I do have ideas for this book, but my exams are coming so updates might be a bit slow. But don't worry, I have the idea for the whole story saved in my notes so this book won't be abandoned.
Thank you for reading. I will update as soon as possible.
