Julian's POV-
Everything seemed dark and the air was rather cold, I couldn't see anything but felt as if I was tied up to something with my arms spread wide open. My wrist kept tied against some type of wood as I could sense some of the tiny pieces of bark slightly poking against my skin while my sight remained covered but I could still hear some things that were going on around me. Now all I could think of doing at the moment was trying to get whatever was covering my eyes off from my head but since I couldn't use my arms, I would try to move my head around frantically which thankfully managed to get the piece of cloth to slide down from my face so now I can clearly see my surroundings.
It seemed to look like I was in some kind of dark underground laboratory or ancient cave of sort as far as I could perceive, there was only a few lit torches of green flames and even a large pool of water just a few feet away from me. And looking down I could see of how I had appeared in a reflection of water.
"Well....this could be a lot worse." I muttered to myself. "Where am I...?"
"I could care less about that, more so how do we get out of here." Hyde spoken in my mind.
"Oh, almost forgot you were here too. Honestly I have no clue where or how, all I know is that we're pretty beaten up..." I would answer.
"Well ain't that swell, but at least you done it for a good cause...more or less what I would've done." Hyde commented.
"At least everyone else was no longer harmed, what happens now is up to us." I would say.
"....Fall..."
Just then I would feel this sudden force that compelled me to bow my head down against my own will. I wasn't sure why until using my eyes to see a slowly approaching figure coming out from the darkness of the shadows within this ancient cave place, though the figure was now more visible upon stepping into the light of the green flames.
"Geez... someone hasn't been using a good skin care routine." I remarked."Your humor can only do such to suppress the pain." The being spoken in a soothing yet dark and ancient tone.
"Well at least it helps. So let me guess.... you're the one who sent all those monsters after me, right?" I asked.
"Indeed, you are of great value to me child. As such I required assistance with other creatures as to find and bring you to me." The being answered.
"Got a name to go with that, dnd campaign boss?" I asked again.
"My name is irrelevant for I am simply a vessel for my master. A Lich..." They responded.
"So it's Lich. Kinda easy to remember, taking mental note of that." I replied.
"You mortals are so intriguing, your responses to the presence of another worldly being had no surprise for you." The Lich said.
