"You're lying...Say you're both messing with me right now!" Y/n exclaimed. "Sorry new girl but unfortunately its true. Cops and detectives were swarming the place on the day Sal had moved in!" Larry explained as she stared at the two in horror.

That's when they explained who had died and what exactly went down. The two had even caught the murderer and got him arrested! These two were absolutely nuts! "We also have another thing we have to show you." Sal finished off.

The two boys stood, Larry pulled her up before ushering her to the elevator. In Sal's hands were a modified looking gear boy. "Woah sick game console!" she exclaimed while ogling the creation.

"Oh! Yeah thanks our friend Todd modified it. He lives on the second floor by the way, I'm sure he'll meet you on the first day of school...Speaking of which, you are going to Nockfell High right?" Sal asked to which she nodded her head. Larry fist bumped her to this news.

Soon enough the elevator suddenly stopped at the 5th floor. The door opened, the fifth floor looked...weathered. "Dude this shit is fucking wrecked." Y/n whispered to herself. "Wait till you see where we're headed!" Larry said spookily followed by ghostly taunts.

She rolled her eyes while laughing at this, this pair was quite interesting to say the least. Sal began to lead the way, stopping in front of the busted looking door of 504. Y/n followed cautiously, surprised the floor hadn't given out beneath them.

"Do you believe in ghosts Y/n?" asked Sal suddenly after he twisted open the doorknob. She thought for a moment, nearly tripping on some lifted bit of the carpet. "Uhhh, I think so? But I need like really solid evidence to believe a place is haunted." she said while looking around the joint.

"Wait till Sal works his magic!" Larry claimed excitedly followed by Sal who began to hush him so he wouldn't spoil whatever these two decided to show you. Soon enough the girl found herself standing in a dark and dirty bathroom with two boys she had just met an hour ago. 'Definitely had nothing like this back home that's for sure.'

"Dawg it smells absolutely foul in here what exactly are we doing in here?" she asked before the both turned over. Even with his mask she could tell that the two of them were both smiling deviously at her.

That's when she noticed the gear boy had started to almost glow? Possibly just the light of it turning on but she swore she began to see green sparks flying out of it! Thats when she noticed Sal press a button, causing light to flash in the room.

Right in the center of the room, an apparition of a little girl began to form. Her muscle and body components formed into her full self through the floor. She had tattered clothing, messy purple hair and bloodshot eyes. Not to forget her translucent skin, she was a real life ghost!

"What the fuck–" "Hello Megan! I want you to meet someone new who will be joining the building!" Sal spoke kindly to the little girl. Despite how strange this was she thought it was rather sweet that Sal treated the kid with such kindness, dead or not.

The little girl turned to look at Y/n, flinching a little she disappeared almost immediately. Larry sighed, "Sorry she's a bit shy, it took Sal a good few tries to get her to even show up in front of me!" "It's...alright. I just...I don't know what I was expecting to see up here but it definitely was not this." she responded still in shock that she had just seen an actual ghost.

"So...This is why you two were asking me about my apartment?" she asked as they all filed out the bathroom and into the hallway once more. "Yup!" Larry responded popping the 'p' at the end. The trio soon loaded back into the elevator.

Y/n's mother ended up texting her to come back for dinner and Sal decided to go back to his as well. Larry waved the two goodbye before continuing his descent down to the basement. "Well I hope to see you guys on the first day of school soon!" the pink haired girl beamed.

Sal shifted a bit in his stance, his ears turning pink again. "Yeah! We'll totally introduce you to the gang during lunch if you're comfortable!" he stuttered out. "That would be awesome! Thank you guys so much, see you around Sally!" she said while waving and going into her apartment.

Shutting the door gently she looked around the apartment, a rug from home was placed in the center of the living room, covering the stains from earlier. Now that she knew what those stains were from, she was glad they were covered.

She also noticed all the windows were propped open, letting in the fresh evening air. It definitely smelt nicer than before. The chemical like scent still lingered but it was definitely an improvement.

"Hey! Welcome back, you were out for quite a while, find anything fun?" her mother asked as she dished out all the food onto the table. "Yeah actually, the janitor here, she's very sweet and has a son and we became friends and the boy next door was with us too! They were both very cool." she said while shoving some spinach into her mouth.

"That's nice to hear." her father chimed in as he sat down with a dad groan. Typical she joked to herself as they all enjoyed their first family dinner in their new home.
