Jade Leywin POV
Yozora and I set off towards the mana signatures I perceived, my shadow armor formed around my body as I flew at top speed
' What do you think we should expect? ' Yozora asked
' I don't know, in the novel only a single team of Wraiths appeared and right now I can detect eleven mana signatures so even if the five I've read about are among them there are another six that I don't know '
' So expect anything right? '
' Yeah, individually they're not a threat to us but their teamwork is so good that it'll allow them to take down even elite asura warriors so I expect this will be a quite annoying fight '
We kept going and after a couple of minutes several dots appeared at the horizon, as both of our groups kept advancing I managed to get a look at my opponents, five of them were the Wraiths that Arthur fought in the novel, or at least they matched the description pretty well the other six though were wearing hoods all in different colors: black, azure, white, teal, brown and red
"Ha! It seems the lesser is eager to die! That or he's just that stupid and arrogant" the lanky guy wearing the white hood exclaimed as we all came to a halt and started examining each other
"Calm down Qilby we're here on a direct order from the high-sovereign, this lesser must be different from the others" the guy wearing the black hood stated
"Oh please, he might have been strong enough to defeat a couple of scythes but he's still just a lesser" the woman that I assume is Valeska argued
"Still if the high-sovereign thought it was fit to send not just one but two of his highest ranking team of Wraiths this guy must be good" a shorty wearing the azure hood stated
"What? Are you perhaps scared, little Yugo?" Qilby taunted
"I'm just prudent"
"Ohi, I'm a bit on a tight schedule so how about you guys just surrender? That will save me some time and it will spare you a fairly painful experience" I asked
"Surrender? Us? HAHAHAHA!!! That was a good one, little lesser but don't think even for an instant that we are the same as those measly scythes you fought with" the busty woman with the teal hood laughed
"*sigh* well I tried" I sighed as I assumed a fighting stance
"Ohi ohi are you serious? Do you really want to fight us? Do you even know who we are, kid?" Qilby asked
"Well since none of you bothered to introduce himself, no I have no idea about who you are and honestly I'm not interested, as I said I have a tight schedule which means I'm in a hurry and since you don't want to surrender I'll just have to fight you"

They all stated their names proudly
"We are the Wraiths boy, we hunt asuras, just the fact that we'll fight you should be an honour for you and an insult to our power" Richmal stated
"*sigh* fine since you just don't want to listen let's fight" I replied releasing a bit of my [King's force] and they all tensed up
