We reach the small icecream parlour at almost 2 in the night and find Abhimanyu already waiting for us.
I hug him but push him making a disgusted face at him "Eww... you smell of sex"
Ram laughs while abhi says "Did I say you that you smell of sex?"
"I took a bath-" I spit and quickly palm my mouth while ram laughs harder.
Abhi chuckles "Stop getting embarrassed infront of me priyuu, we are not kids anymore"
I remove my palm from my mouth and he adds "You don't need to be embarrassed, it's all common nowadays and I know you two have been fucking.."
"Okay shut up! That's enough" I intervene.
"Arey... what's wrong with you?" Abhi frowns.
"I'm not feeling comfortable discussing sex with you, all of a sudden.." I confess and both of them laugh while I stomp my feet and make my way inside the shop.
I grab a strawberry delight for myself while two of them just sit outside where small tables and chairs were arranged.
I go towards them and sit adjacent to both of them "Didn't you both want icecream?"
"No, I just wanted to meet you guys to talk but then this idiot out of nowhere said icecream" Abhi pointed to ram who grinned.
"You said you wanted to eat icecream" I look at ram who shrugged "Now I don't want... simple"
I frown having a bite of my strawberry delight "I'm not going to share my icecream with you"
Both of them chuckle and ram says "I didn't know you were a baby"
I frown "Shutup! There's no harm in being dessert baby"
Ram looks at me in amusement "So you're a dessert.." pause "...baby? I love desserts"
It took me a second to get what he meant while abhi laughed.
"God! Let me eat in peace" I roll my eyes and he says "Later I'll lick you clean"
My cheeks burn and I hide my face in palms as both of them laughed. Gosh! Why does he have to say all this infront of Abhimanyu.
"You're so shameless! He is your brother" I chide him to which he shrugs "He doesn't mind"
I look at Abhi who was suppressing his laugh. I glare at him "Stop it abhi"
He still chuckles "Okay relax! By the way it's good to see you both like a couple"
I gape at him and look at ram who stiffened and said "We are not a couple abhi"
"Yeah, we are just..." I don't find the exact word and Abhi laughs "Oh god relax guys! I know.. I was just kidding"
I sigh and find ram rolling his eyes at Abhimanyu.
"Why did you call us though?" Ram asks.
"Hmm yeah... dad wants me to marry Akshita" He says and i instantly stop eating.
"Dude! You just got laid an hour back" Ram scoffs.
"That's why I got laid today" Abhi shrugs.
I gasp "What?"
"Yeah, akshita is someone I know. We had been good friends as she is dad's closest friend's daughter. But the last time I saw her was in junior college and then she went abroad for studies. Now she is back and I saw her picture today which actually..."
"Wait wait wait... Akshita is she the one whom I've met a few times back then?" I frown.
Abhi smiles nodding and I start laughing to which both of them look at me confused.
"What's wrong baby?" Ram says and Abhi looks at him raising his brow which ram ignores.
I chuckle "Actually, I was very possessive of abhi and my friendship back then because he was my only bestfriend so when she came I was more clingy to Abhi feeling I'll not be his bestfriend anymore"
Abhi looks at me amused "What? Really?"
I nod and add "So she used to think that we were dating"
"But she did ask me and I said I was single" Abhi shrugs.
"Yeah and I threatened her to stay away from you" I bite my lip and ram laughs while abhi looks at me shocked.
"Priyuuu seriously?"
I give a sheepish grin "I thought she'll snatch my only bestfriend"
"She's damn cute" Ram laughs while abhi shakes his head and smacks my head lightly "Bilkul pagal hai tu"
I pout "Shutup! But you liked her back then?"
"No, but today when I saw the picture... she was looking way more beautiful" Abhi's cheeks flush and it didn't go unnoticed by both of us.
"Oh-ho someone is blushing already?!" I tease him to which he blushes more "Shutup priyuu, I mean I haven't talked to her yet. Tomorrow we are going to meet and maybe decide if it's a yes or no"
"Wow! That's too fast isn't it?" Ram says.
"If they really like each other and it's uncle's bestfriend then what's the harm" I take a bite of my icecream.
"Yeah ram and you should also settle" Abhi says to which ram chuckles "Don't drag me into this"
"Why? Won't you ever get married?" I ask him.
"I don't know... but for now... I don't want to think about it" He relaxes in his seat.
"Okay so this was what I wanted to tell" Abhi leans back in his chair.
I finish my almost melted icecream and ram shakes his head grabbing a tissue and wiping my chin.
"You two are adorable" Abhi comments with a smirk while i look at ram who rolls his eyes at him "Shutup will you"
Abhi then looks at me "So... what happened with Ashwin?"
Suddenly I feel disgusted that I dated such a dickhead. Had a crush on that asshole.
Ram cleared his throat "Ashwin?"
I look at him and and Abhi says "Her ex.. I thought you knew by now?"
Ram shakes his head "Oh, I have no idea"
I squint my eyes at him and guess abhi noticed it as he says "You're lying. She told you everything isn't it?"
Ram looks at me and groans "Okay fine she did"
"So why were you trying to hide it?" Abhi leans forward.
"Because your stupid brain works much more than it's needed" Ram scoffs which made abhi chuckle and made me confused.
"Priyuu" Abhi looks at me "Don't you trust me?"
"Abhi it's not that... it's just.. it's too much and I don't want relive any of those memories that's why I avoid to talk about it" My eyes unknowingly moistened and ram holds my hand which was on the table.
Abhi looks down at it and then at ram before leaning back.
"I understand priyuu, it's okay you don't have to talk about it. I'll ask ram if you're okay with it? Because I need to know" Abhi says softly and I nod knowing I won't be able to do it.
He gets up kissing my forehead to which I smile in return and hugs ram bidding us night.
Ram goes in and pays for the icecream before joining me towards the car.
